i think you need to see another doctor and make sure it is a good doctor because a lot of dermatologists don't know anything about gential skin diseases specially lichen and do not worry because there is a treatment for everything.

it was the GUM clinic i visited due to the covid outbreak i had to send pics in. i just had a shower and tried to wash there and there was stench. im not sure if it could be fungal or yeast infection but there is nothing to wipe away

Apply something like a skin cream or baby oil to it for a few days, if it worsens within 4 to 5 days it is likely you have a skin disorder that you will need to get correctly identified and appropriate medication for the diagnosis (it is unlikely you will get a severe reaction to applying anything)
So yes, GUM Clinics are perhaps the only service where you will currently get a potential face-to-face appointment - the other I would try is if you find the major Sexual Health Service in the area in which you live if you want to phone an alternative provider

i think its starting to get better the pain has subsided now. i think masterbation may have irritated it so taking it easy

When did you notice something MAY not be quite right - how long ago was this?
The clear likelihood is you have a genital skin condition - certainly things like masturbation and sexual activity will cause a great deal of friction and therefore heightened irritation.
The only way to resolve what you have going on is to get diagnosed and the correct treatment put in place as soon as possible

it was a few weeks ago maybe 3/4 i noticed a white patch but it didnt get painful until monday this week. it seems like its starting to fade now with using e45 lotion. I spoke to a doctor and told me to send photos in they told me it doesnt look to be anything to be worried about and keep the area clean and see how it is in a two/3 weeks

Given the current Corona Virus circumstances this is about the only suggestion a doctor would make - I am presuming this is a GP / Family doctor, rather than a GU medicine / sexual health one?
If this is a skin condition the likely development path is that you will get periods where the symptoms seem to fade but will return again - if they fade and stay away then fine, but given the symptoms in photo 1 there is a strong likelihood they will return

The next 3 to 5 months should prove which is the case.
In terms of potential products it would be helpful if you can identify whether you have changed anything like a soap or shower gel - particularly if you apply these to the head of your penis when washing or showering

the only thing i can think if is the bubble bath used in bath tub we changed to a herbal radox special edition this is when i first seen it. ive been using e45 moisturising lotion on it just now and seeing the improvement. the pain has completely subsided too

I would suggest you post an update November or December - or whenever you get a change of circumstances, such as a return of the white patch or other significant issue

You need to try to get an in-person appointment - you may need to ask the GUM where you can get visually checked if they are not doing them at the moment
I would suggest you do have a skin condition

this is what it currently looks like again there isnt any pain but doesnt seem to be going there is also a smell. could it be a yeast infection? i wont be able to get back in touch with GUM clinic till next week andlittle worried

If you get white patches this cannot be a simple yeast infection I would have thought.
In the region in which you live there must be a number of GU and sexual health services - I would be looking to at least contact the major ones to see if you can get an in-person appointment
Odour is always linked to poor penile hygiene - yes you need to be careful, particularly drying the head of your penis - but you need to fully wash after each time you urinate, produce pre-ejaculate or actually ejaculate

You need to have the situation assessed by a medical professional as soon as possible

Yes, I know about this personally: I had a GP referral for potential penile cancer as at the time I had been trying to deal with a severe skin disorder over an extended period of time myself. It turned out I 'only' had an incurable skin disorder.
What you need to bare in mind is that penile cancer is a relatively rare condition, and those that have had it are likely to have symptoms for a great deal of time and be over 50 years of age. And yes, I was over 50, and yes I could have had my initial symptoms for years, not months. Best to get checked early on with anything such as what you have now as delay makes treatment all the more difficult very often.
If you are offered a biopsy to prove what the condition is that you actually have you MUST have one, as often, this is the ONLY way to tell what is actually going on.
Please update after your appointment ......
