White patches on breasts

I had a biopsy today for lichen Sclerosus vaginally, but the doctor also noticed white patches on my breasts that could be the same thing. I always thought I had scarred them by wearing a bad bra.
My question is, if it is indeed this, and I get steroid treatment, will the white patches go away and go back to looking normal? I’m pretty self conscious about it.
Thanks!

Not speaking from experience but from reading a LOT about LS and speaking to other ladies it sounds like it could be. A lady I know had the same thing and like you thought it was her bra and she just used her steroid cream on it for a few days and it cleared up. Apparently it can appear on your body too
How was the biopsy I’m having mine on Tuesday and dreading it?!

I went in for my normal check up, so I was not expecting a biopsy! They said I could get it done right then or come back. And I knew I’d overthink it and freak out if I had to come back in!
They numb you up with a shot, which is the uncomfortable:painful part. Equate it to an ear piercing if you’ve ever had one in your ear cartridge, besides the lobe. Sharp quick pain for two seconds, and then that’s basically it.
It still kind of feels pinched today down there, now that the numbing meds have worn off. But honestly, don’t get worked up. I’m a wuss, and I handled it fine!
Good luck

Hi Anne,
I had several really bad patches on my back. The doctor's didn't know what it was but once LS was diagnosed I used the steroid cream. It took a while to go but it has cleared up and hasn't come back. I used a lot of body lotion as the skin was very dry.
I hope this helps.

If it is LS, then yes, the patches should go away. Start off strong and gradually taper off. Ask your Dr. their schedule for Clobetasol if that's what they prescribe. But only a tiny amount each time you apply!!
