So 3 weeks ago i have noticed this small white patches on my penis shaft. it did got bigger and it can get red after a shower. when i touch it i feel some discomfort and a bit of burning sensation that fades soon after.

it gets red after a shower and goes back to white ( a little and a bit o flake/scally) after hours (after sleeping, for example)

it does not itch.

i don't think it is Std as i am virgin. circumcised at birth and i masturbate on daily basis.

What country do you live in Mark? When you masturbate do you put some oil or skin cream on your penis? What age a re you?

What you may need to do to get this diagnosed correctly is to see a Dermatologist, is this possible for you? If you cannot go to a Dermatologist can you go to see a Regular or Family Doctor or a GP - as they may be able to send you to a Dermatologist ?

      Hi there!

Brazil (Brasilia-DF). 20 years old. KY lubricant (water-based).

Sadly doctors here are pretty expensive and the public one takes months to get an appointment

So, to summarise your situation: the good point is this cannot be sexually related, so the conditions associated with sex can be excluded.

What I think you may have going on is the beginnings of a skin condition. I recognise what it may well be that you have as I have had these symptoms myself. Here is a list of what you need to do: -

      • wash your penis with water only
      • try as far as possible to prevent soap and body wash such as shower gel from getting onto your penis
      • when taking a shower take some time to rinse away any body cleansers such as soap and shower gel, from your entire body first, then, what may have got onto your penis. Use the running water to completely rinse your penis with
      • you need to carefully dry your penis where the white patch is by patting it dry with a clean dry towel, do this as soon as you get out of the shower
      • when you masturbate, stop using the KY for 3 to 5 weeks, try to get some liquid Coconut Oil and use a light coating of that instead of the KY
      • when you have finished masturbating you MUST ensure to do a complete clean up. Wash your penis with water and dry carefully - always check for up to an hour and a half after you have ejaculated that no remnants of semen have appeared anywhere on the on the surface of your penis skin. If so, use a clean paper tissue to wipe any away, or a clean small towel that ONLY YOU use
      • if you have any antiseptic cream in the house apply this directly to the white patch for 3 or 4 days at the most. Do not be surprised if this makes it worse - this is part of the process of proving what condition it actually is that you have
      • if this does not make the white patch worse then you have a relatively simple skin condition, if it does get worse this MAY suggest you have a severe skin condition developing
      • should the white patch worsen you need to stop applying ANYTHING to the skin of your penis, only use water to wash and completely dry the skin carefully after washing

        .

What you possibly have then is a long-term developing situation, you need to start asking around how you would get to see a skin specialist, a Dermatologist that is, as you may need to get some medication that they can prescribe to you ...

        .

If you have any further questions hit the REPLY button, do not PM or Message me, I will NOT respond

Please update your Forum Post here whenever you have a change to the white patch or you have anything else going on with your penis. If you do an update in a weeks time anyway, then every 3 or 4 weeks after that ............

Perhaps that's an allergy to water-based lubricant that you use. Do you still have the white patches until now?

im going through same thing can you tell me what is causing this problem and how i end it

    • Edited

Symptoms may appear to be similar, or even exactly the same and can have an entirely different cause.

I suggest you start your own Forum Discussion using the "New discussion" button below - give as mush detail as you can, particularly anything you may have tried on it, whether you are sexually active or not, and most important, if you can post at least 2 or 3 photos that clearly show what you have that is often the most important factor for others to give advice .....
