White patches on the glans & on the foreskin

Hi. I have white patches on my glans and on my foreskin for a long time. Once came out once disappeared. I have ignored it but it is getting bad now and I’m starting to get scared. No pain. The patches getting bigger... Can anyone tell me what are these? Is there any home treatment for it?

    Hi it looks like you have could have lichen sclerosus you need to see you GP don't leave it any longer. I suspect you have this for quite some time you will need a referral to see a dermatologist or urologist and maybe both. I'm not sure if that is your frenulum or some scarring from the LS?

      Thanks! Is there a chance that the patches will disappear after the treatment?

      My frenulum became like this after circumcision. Maybe that's how the scar healed?

      OK I wasn't sure if you were circumcised or not because LS can scar the glans. yes that makes sense your frenulum was removed.

      Did you have the white patches before the circumcision or was it done for phimosis maybe? I don't know if the patches will improve hopefully they will with treatment you need to see a specialist it's very important LS can spread so make sure to go and the sooner the better.

    are the texture of white areas rough or raised? what i can see is just discoloration

    You have a natural infection from the bacteria on your penis. This can be cured with antibiotics and use of yeast infection creams that are purchased over the counter.
