Hey, a 19 y old male here, I discovered a white spot of skin on the lower part of my foreskin, it came a few weeks ago and has looked and stayed the same, its about 3-4mm wide and it has a texture of dry skin, it does not hurt in any way. I first thought of genital warts but since I'm a virgin I'm not sure anymore.

In many populations of different countries of the world large proportions of the population can be carriers of HSV-1, for example - so your idea that symptoms are potentially possible without ever having sex is not as far fetched as some people may initially think.

What you have is certainly unlike a typical herpes lesion - what I would do with this is apply a little antiseptic cream to it on a regular basis and what this will do is either get rid of it or make it worse. If it worsens this will make it easier to diagnose what it actually is.

What you can do is update your Forum post here in subsequent weeks and attach an image of how it is looking at that time.

What you may well have is a skin condition that is currently in its early state - so do not be completely surprised if it does worsen - the role of using the antiseptic cream is so you know one way or the other: = no issue, or, an ongoing issue likely to need future treatment for

So I was just heading out to buy antiseptic cream, and I took one more look at it, it seems to be geeting smaller and becoming the the normal color again(skin color) and it doesent feel so rough anymore, I would guess it's slowly dissaperaring.

So, don't forget my simple 'equation' - no issue, versus an ongoing issue. If it clears away completely and does not come back then that is fine. If it fades and comes back worse that before then you need to check it regularly as you may POTENTIALLY have a skin condition developing.

If you have any further concerns about this simply update this Forum Post at anytime in the future .....

day #2 of applying the antiseptic cream, it has slightly changed color towards a more skin like tone, it's not with a rough skin texture anymore, rather a smooth skin, and it has maybe gotten a bit smaller. I don't know if it has worsened or gotten better.

It certainly does look better: what you can do with antiseptic is start to fade out the use of it. If you are applying more than once a day, switch to once only for 2 or 3 days, then 2 days no application and then apply only if you think it needs it. After a week stop applying the cream and see whether it returns after that to the way it was in the first picture you posted (you can use that image as a reference point to judge whether it is getting worse or better).

Update your Forum Post if it worsens or anything else concerns you ......

It has been about a month and I have stopped using antiseptic cream, however while the main white spot has stayed the same, there seems to be appearing a other white spot similar in qualities to the first one. the white spot/spots are still passive as in they don't hurt or cause any itching and such. what should I do and is it something to worry about if it doesn't cause any pain or itching?

Did I check with you whether you had any other skin conditions elsewhere on the body?

So yes, I checked you were not sexually active - so no major cause for concern.

I think if you went to see a skin specialist / dermatologist they may say there is not much to determine just what is going on, unless, they recognise it straight away.
