White spots HSV 1?? PIC INCLUDED

Hi, so both my boyfriend and i get cold sores, 1.5 month ago he gave me oral sex right after having recovered from a cold sore, the next day i started feeling unwell - achy legs, groin and general body aches but no sores.

fast forward a few weeks i developed strange symptoms - painful peeing, body aches, tender groin but again no sores. i went to several clinics but no one could tell me what was up. i tested negative for UTI, yeast, bv.

Now like 2 weeks later my vagina is super itchy and red, my legs hurt again and my groin for like 5 days. I used OTC yeast infection cream last night and it burned like hell. This morning i have noticed these spots and im freaking out cause this is the first time i see any spots/blisters throughout this. Does this look like herpes? about 7 hours later the area looks peeled and weird i have attached pics of both.

another question i have is, is it possible for me to have the same type of HSV orally and genitally? If so is that why my symptoms are more mild?

also if u already have hsv1 on the mouth and your boyfriend does aswel the likely hood of getting it on the vagina aswel is slim

thank you for responding. I will keep an eye on it. my doctor today said it looks like thrush as well and prescribed me cream and pills but for some reason i have a hard time believing it because of the achy legs and groin too, my anxiety is going crazy

a vaginal infection such as thrush can cause achy legs and glands in the groin because those glands are close to the site of infection like when u get a sore throat and your glands swell in your neck its same thing

oh okay, thank you so much for responding to everyone on here. I have another question, is it common for doctors to misdiagnose herpes as a yeast infection and also how can you mainly tell the difference between the two?

if you have cold sores you would be positive for hsv 1. i was told it is rare for you to get it genital if you have it oral. if the blister or ooze i would get them swabbed to know

i just got the tests for hsv2.. it was igg and igm .. the iggs were the ones positive , always negative igms

so i dont know why i got the first two postives and then negatives

igm is only good for recent exposure if i am not mistaken. igg is the more accurate on that test for the antibodies .

You have type 2. IGM is for recent exposure. IF you've had herpes for a while you'll test negative for igm and positive for igg. IGG tests for antibodies that have been produced after a while.

i tested positive for igg and igm negative 2 times

then after i took tests again and 2 times i got igg and igm negatives.. so, i dont know if thefirsts exams could have react with something? cuse they were low 5,6 and 4.2
