Whitish spot on glans - cause for concern?

Posted , 3 users are following.

First of all, some info about me: I’m still under 20 years old and have been semi-circumsised when I was six or seven or so. The area that I am talking about is still beneath the foreskin.

Now, about one year ago I have started to notice a white spot on my glans. It appeared more like a shimmer when light was shining on it. I dismissed it as smegma (even though I regularly take care of genital hygiene) and, since it did and does not itch or hurt in any way (you can’t even feel it), decided to wait.

Weirdly enough, it is sometimes more and sometimes less apparent, sometimes you don’t even notice it at all.

Furthermore, it seems to depend on the humidity beneath foreskin as well. When you pull it back for the first time, it looks like in the picture, but after the glans, kind of, dries out on the air, it becomes far less apparent.

Do you have any idea what that could be, what I can try to get rid of it and if I should consult a doctor?image

Not talking about the papules though; I'm talking about the whitish shimmer on the main surface.
