Hi everyone, first id just like to say thankyou for reading this ☺️

Im 25 years old and would love to Know why I'm constantly tired to the point were i literally cannot keep my eyes open any longer from the minute i finish work. I work at tesco and I'm full time, iv been to the doctors 5-6 times and been sent for blood tests each And every time, my last trip was on tuesday were i have been given more bloods to get done but why?? Every time I'm told they come back normal and that everything is fine but this does not explain why i am tired, Im struggling to get up in a morning after 10 hours sleep i could easily go back to bed within an hour of being awake. My wife is getting sick of me being constantly tired and asleep on the couch even in the car when we go shopping or anywere.

I physically cannot cope anymore, can somebody please help!!

Thankyou Leanne

Do yourself a favour 89cookie89 and ask for a print out of all your blood test results.

I felt tired for years and only recently was the cause found.

My ex-GPs practice was telling me for years that my blood results were "normal". Last year I had a blood test and was told by a nurse they weren't normal and got treated for a vitamin D deficiency. She then noticed my White Cell Count was reduced.

I then got a print out of all the blood tests I had in the past 4 years and found that the GP who claimed my results were "normal" wasn't telling the truth. My White Cell count had been reduced for 4 years and I had been feeling drained all this time and been getting ill all the time, even with my Vitamin D levels restored. (The GP eventually shouted at me that I couldn't be helped so I ended up changing practices.)

Someone else later pointed out late last year to me that my vitamin B12, ferritin and folate levels were all at the lower end of the normal range. I supplemented with these and now I'm healthy.

There is lots of information on this site about different diseases and my ex-GPs practice use to give me print outs from this site, so once you get your test results you can have a look yourself to see what is normal as GPs often miss things or in my case can't be bothered to look things up.

BTW it's very important that you tell the GP if you have heavy periods and/or a family history of any deficiencies.
