Why amI sooo tired and still space after 4 weeks?

Hi again!

I woke ip this morning again with this incredible fatigue. I feel like hangover almost. Out of it.

I wake up around 8:30, take my med around 11 or 12:00. All morning Im tired and anxious like. Like in the blue. Then few hours after my intake, I start to feel a bit dizzy and almost a bit stone. Feel like doing nothing. Anxious and nervous. Around 6 or 7:00, I take a bit of clonazepam and also before bed. I go to bed around 11 and sleep thight all night. And shaky af of the day.

Am I doing something wrong?

Does that means the dose us too high for me or not enough?

Would it be better to take it later in the day or will I still be the same?

I will give my doc a call today but just wondering what was your thoughts?

Thanks again...

Sounds like everything I went through in the beginning of starting my zoloft, but my question is what Mg are you on and how long have you been on your current dosage?

      Hi Joe!

Was on prozac 5mg and dirwct switch to 25mg of prozac 4 weeks and a half ago.

Did 25mg for 10 days and now 50mg (3 weeks and 3 days).

I seriously feel like Im stone. Not really there.

Dont know if its because its too high or too low?

I know my psychiatrist will not really know what to say and might say that Im med intolerant. She said if this one doesnt work, she will recommend to stop all med.

Its like since a year ago, I have developped an hypersensitivity to AD.

I’m so sorry your going through all of this, I was thinking the same thing when I started sertraline that I was hypersensitive to ssris because my side effects for the first 3 weeks were freaking horrible. Somehow I made myself push through until I hit that time frame everyone speaks of (6-8 weeks ) and I’m glad I did because almost overnight I started feeling much better and my anxiety plus the side effects all went away! Stay in touch good luck with everything and God bless

Hi Jacqueline, yes I started loosing the side effects around the 3rd week or so, heightened anxiety being the worst of those by the way, and now I’m 8 weeks in and still on 50mg and I’m feeling almost 100% better. My anxiety is almost back to a normal state, the only thing is that my sleep is still not 100% but it’s getting better, I was lucky if I got 3 hours solid sleep a night a few weeks back and now I’m getting somewhere around 5-6 so slowly but surely.

Isnt it suppose to go the other way !

The trembling, the stone feeling, headaches is new , .. I seriously dont know what to think of all that!

    Hi,

I feel the same as you! I’ve been on 50mg for 3 weeks today and I take it around 7am then come 9/10am I am completely knackered and feel out of it. I’m hoping this is just one of the side effects and gets better?!? Surely it has to?! But don’t worry you are not alone! We are in this together xx

      Thaks for your reply Lauren!

It sure helps to know we are not alone.

But Im seriously questionning myself if I would of been better with getting off completely!?

I just cant stand feeling soo lethargic, anxious, jittery, dizzy and shaky. I really feel like im on drugs!

At what time do you take yours?

I take mine as soon as I wake up at 7am then start going a bit lethargic etc about 9am for a few hours then come round late afternoon 3pm. The only thing that’s keeping me going to still take them is how everyone is saying they felt the same and to stick with them! Are you thinking of coming off them? X

I dont really know actually ???

I just dont seem to see positive improvements so thats why Im a bit confuse...

Im waiting for my osychuatrist nurse to call back and talk to her about it.

Do you have fatigue all day? Do you have orher side effects?

Sorry to hear that you’re still having a rough time with side effects. I would really really suggest keeping going. It took me around 8 weeks to feel a real difference. I know you feel like giving up but you have already done 4 weeks, you owe it to yourself to give it more time. Maybe you need to up your dose but talk to your doctor about that. Good luck

      Thanks for your reply Kate!

Yes in fact I do feel like giving up or maybe lower my dose since Im very sensitive with AD.

I have taken zoloft few years back for almost 4 years.

Last summer, I re-tried it but had bad stomach issues at 100mg and still fatigue. At that time, my doctor went from 25 to 100mg really quick.

I now see a new doctor. Thats why she is re-re-trying it because it worked in the past. And also because, I almost tried every AD and either I dont tolerate them or they stopoed working.

I have développed dizziness and anxiety when I was on lexapro 2 years ago after beeing on it for 3 years. Since that, every AD I take doesnt work. I feel stone, tired, dizzy...

Maybe my body doesnt want those kind of med anymore????

      Maybe its too strong now???

      I really dont know?

If any of you know what it might be, or suggest something....Im in!

I see my doctor tomorrow... but I know she will say that she doesnt really know what to do and ask me what I want to???
