Why can't I eat?

Over the past few months, I have stopped eating any meals other than dinner, and rarely snack during the day. The most I consume is soda and carbonated drinks. I get sick at the near thought of walking into my kitchen and eating really anything before 2 PM. Even then most I eat are some crackers or a small back of chips. I've never been a big eater, I'm not a 'picky eater' so to say. I just don't eat foods I know I won't like otherwise I could eat a lot, nowadays I can barely eat a small order of corner store food.

After eating, if I do I never feel good. I can't really describe it but it's like a mix of disgust and bloating. Because of this feeling I have resorted to filling my stomach with drinks such as Ginger Ale, Squirt, Chocolate Milk, Water (rarely), Briske Tea, Arizona, and Peace Tea. I mostly drink Ginger Ale.

In the past few years, I have gone on "water binges" where for a few weeks, I only drink water. I have finished a third of a case of water in a day once during one of these phases. During these phases, I don't eat anything. I have been threatened that if I didn't eat I would have something taken away, specifically my laptop.

So I ask if these are symptoms of something I should get help for and stop before it gets worse? I am a bit bigger in the belly area and want to try and fix that, but I'm still growing and I've been told I will simply 'stretch out.' I just don't feel good eating a lot.

You need professional help as this is an eating disorder. You will be supported and helped back to health and fitness and be able to enjoy your food and life.

First thing you need to do is see a GP or family doctor.

Ask your parents to take you if you are a child which sounds like you are.

    All the best.
