    Hi yb92

Are you male or female. If female is it your lower abdomen? if so this could indicate problems with your ovaries. If it is not in the ovarian area, it could be your diet male or female. Try keeping a food diary to see if certain foods are causing bloating and pain..think about what you ate during the day and before you went to bed?....

im female and its in the middle of my abdomen on both sides i did eat spaghetti lastnight could it have been the acidity of the tomatoes? idk this never happend before.

Tomatoes are quite bland and don't have an acidic flavour unless you add dressing to them. However, some people have problems digesting them.Maybe try a food diary to to see if any foods are causing your pain. Stress can make gut problems worse and can actually trigger them. Maybe try some milk to soothe your stomach and see your doctor if no better after a week. Have you seen a doctor before about your stomach problems? If so, what did your doctor suggest?

i have been extremly stressed out lately and having anxiety. so im wondering if that could be it. yes i have seen pcp doctor and she said my symptoms sound like ibs but they reffered me to a Gi specialist and ive had a ultrasound and CT scans but they say everyrhing seems normal and to log my eating. so i will continue to do that but if the pain doesnt stop in a few days i will def make a doctor app. i hope its nothing major!

When nothing shows up in tests, doctors diagnose IBS. Ask your doctor for an antispasmodic to help with the pain. Try distraction techniques such as light exercise or a hobby to help control your anxiety. While you are anxious, your pain will continue. Keeping calm is key to controlling IBS.

      Hi yb92

It may not be the spaghetti sauce..it maybe the spaghetti itself was it spaghetti made with wheat and gluten, perhaps you have an intolerance to wheat and gluten. Try leaving out wheat and gluten. Look on the ingredients of food items with bold lettering that indicates ingredients that can cause allergic reactions.....
