Why does perimenopause feel like dying

I'm beyond frustrated. i started having weird symptoms 2 years ago. it was one thing after another. And of course i googled my symptoms and began having severe health anxiety. I've self diagnosed myself with having many terminal illnesses. Headaches and throat pain and severe digestive issues and spine/back pain and sore ribs and bones and bad gas and bloating and needing to burp but cant seem to get it out 😭 and probably a bunch of other weird symptoms ive forgotten about. please tell me im not alone and NOT dying. im tired of running to the dr only to be told everything and every test looks fine. im positive its perimenopause but some says the anxiety makes it hard to be rational

Right now I have a sore calf with hives on it. I also have hives all over my arms. My legs hurt. My whole body hurts from my hands to my feet. I keep thinking I have a blood clot. I do not have a blood clot. My tummy got bigger. I am pretty sure that's because I can't stop eating. I was never a big eater and now I eat like a body builder. I am back to my fasting. I have been doing that for years before menopause. It works for me because I have stomach issues and have a strict regiment from my doctor. I have nausea, bad anxiety and some of the worst hot flashes in my life. I can't take Black Cohosh regularly because it messes with my liver enzymes. I was so desperate tonight I took one. I felt so much better. I have a weird fluttering thingy going on in my ear that comes and goes all night tonight. I have only gotten three hours sleep a night the past couple of weeks.

I got the fourth dose of the vaccine. I am in the States and it triggered my period, a heavy period after months of just having light or no periods. My husband said my anxiety is off the charts. I am so tired and stressed. Everything is too much. I have a new puppy because you know that was the brightest idea in menopause. 😃 I was missing my dog too much after she passed and I went into a depression. We know how detrimental depression is in menopause.

After I posted here the fluttering in my ear got worse. I realized my blood pressure was spiking. I forgot all the sweating from hot flashes causes our potassium to disappear. I ate a lot of potassium yesterday. All the body aches went away, hot flashes are not as severe. Anxiety went down a little. My tummy went down too. No more ear fluttering.

You aren't alone. My health anxiety ramped up when I hit peri two years ago, so my brain goes into overdrive thinking i am seriously screwed. I'm seriously thinking of going to a gyne for HRT, but am currently on anti-anxiety meds in the meantime. They do help, only I wish someone warned me about all these weird and scary symptoms when I was younger! They tell you everything about what happens when you start getting periods, but send you stumbling blind when menopause looms near. What is up with that?!? 🤷🏻‍♀️
