Why have I had this for so long? Is this normal. Or hiv/ herpes?

Hope someone can help. in april i had swollen glands, headache, really tired for a while and shortness of breath. i also noticed angry red sores at the back of my throat. and i couldnt fully take a deep breath, or fully yawn. i had a course lf antibiotics prescibed by the gp which changed nothing. i called the GP who said to try some spray and if should help the inflammation. i have problems with my left ear- it is perorated and eardrum will need to be rebuilt at some point. it feels worse on this side now. ive had my tonsils and adenoids removed due to hearing issues as a child.

i called the doctor last week ans said i still have the red sores at the back of my throat, as i was told by another gp to call back if it doesnt go away. The GP told me it look ok (from the photos) as they are not doing face to face. she said if i dont have fever or any other symptoms not to worry. Yesterday i woke with a really sore throat, and today its even worse. it hurts to swallow
