ive had a yeast infection for awhile it keeps coming back and its extremely hard to get rid of. My dr has prescribed me Fluconazole, and clotrimazole and neither of them worked and i also tried the monistat 3 day kithing seems to work? Im seeing a gyno but nit for a couple weeks cause there booked has anybody else ever had this problem? why wont ot gonaway its so irratating.

long term probiotics for vaginal flora may help i took them for 6 months as suffered bv and yeast infections they helped alot

are the OTC and have you had any of the medicines not work for you? like i dont understand why medicines wont take away a yeast infection?

What dose of Fluconazole did your doctor give you?
When I had a problem with thrush because I am taking steroids long term, I have had to take Fluconazole and the usual dose didn't get on top of it. I found that I had to take it for about 4 weeks in order to clear it. My Consultant prescribes me 4 weeks at a time. I haven't had a problem for a long time now. Suggest with your doctor, that perhaps you could try taking it for longer than your current dose.
