Will I ever get back to normal sleep?

Will there ever be a time when you can sleep through the night without pain?

I hear people with this for years.... This is very upsetting..

It will get better! It's a process, but nights will get easier . Try to sleep with a pillow under your arm. I literally had to lift my arm from one side to the other. Now, I don't have to, and the pain has subsided enough to sleep. Hang in there! You're not alone.

Don't feel badly asking your family doctor for help. I was soooo hesitant to ask for pain meds but I went in on Friday and got some Tramacet for night time and Cymbalta to help with the constant pain. It has made a world of difference in just these few days. I was waking every 45-60 minutes at night and now I am waking only 2-3'times all night! Just try to make it one day at a time.

    Hi there.

i have had this vile condition since 2014 Dec it is a process you have to follow I still only get about 4 hrs sleep. My r.o.m. Has got a lot better but I can't raise my left are but the pain has reduced considerably.

in the beginning the pain was so bad I would cry and my pain threshold is very high.

i had a Mri and guided cortisone injection which helped very much.

but this awful pain does go and you will feel better I wish you well and send gentle hugs X

    Hi Kathleen

There is light at the end of the tunnel I was the same as you and thought I would never sleep properly again however following intense PT, pain meds and herbal sleeping pills I am meds free and sleeping for 4 hours straight and then tossing and turning until I get up but that horrible throbbing ache has subsided. The reason why is injections into the joint and siftntissue along with taking MSM (look into them herbal remedy) it is working wonders for me and the range of movement has improved also

Thank you all... I am going to GP today for my yearly physical. He is the conservative type when it comes to treatment. I don't know what he will do for me. I hope he gives me something. This is just a hard thing to go through. I think with a broken bone, you get well quicker..

I never even heard about this condition before.

Okay.... Trying to keep my head up.
