Will I get better?

hello,

i was diagnosed with mono about 3 months ago. i didnt take recovery as seriously as i shouldve and within 2 weeks i hit the gym and started partying again, this waa a big mistake because the next day i literally felt like i was hit by a truck. headaches, bodyaches, nausea. ive been resting aa much as i can while working and sometimes feel improvments but still any athletic actions or weight lifting makes me feel horrible for days. my question is, will i be able to improve with rest from this or is this cfs? ive seen many things saying that activity triggers symptoms but im not sure if its cfs or with mono too.

thank you!

yes you will get better and improve with time and rest. can you take a few weeks off work? get a doctors note. my dr wrote me off work for a month. he only approved me to go back to work after my tests came back all ok (my liver was affected for a while). ideally you should be doing nothing,at least for a few weeks. in bed, netflix, sleeping as many times a day as you feel tired. the fatigue was still there for me a month or so after i go went back to work (after litterally 2 months in bed) and the night sweats. so yeah if you can take time off work so you can rest and your body will heal quicker

      hello

i dont really feel fatigue or anything like that just up and downs of symptoms. the thing that concerns me most is when i do anything athletic like working out or soccer, a day and a half later i get symptoms back. im worried this is cfs or something like that.

any insight will be appreciated thank you all
