    Hi star

Bless you, you seem to be very secretive to drugs from what Iv read about you...

If your that sensitive to drugs then of caurse you will find a increase hard at first, and untill again your body adjust to a stronger dose, u will say one thing tho, don't keep jumping from higher dose one day back to your norm the next, or you will just mess your body up, as it won't know if coming or going..

Either stick to your 10mg for now, or carry on with that little bit extra, don't confuse your mind and body, or you will just end up giving up on the meds, as you will just continue with bad side effects so I think you need to just stick to one or the other...

I'm afraid I'm one of the lucky ones that started on 20mg and had two weeks of hell, then I went up to 40 without side effects, and after 3 mths I'm on 60 now, and again no side effects and it's working FOR ME great..

But every one is different and we all react in different ways to drugs... but I think your doing really well to take that chance and go a little high, your a very brave person.. just remember to stick at either 10mg or that little bit high for you..

Good luck your doing so well, just keep talking to us on here as we all won't to help in our own ways .

    Big hugs 🤗 X

Hi Dawn   Hope you are well.  I'm new to the site.   I have been on 5 to 8 mg of Prozac for 9 days now.  I can achieve this by taking liquid Prozac.   But I feel like I'm going crazy.  I have facial pain, chest tightness, pressure behind my eyes and pressure in my head.  I don't know how much longer I can deal with this.   Does this pass.  Or am I stuck with this.  It's so discouraging I can't even explain how deflating and uncomfortable it is.

      Thank you

      Hi Craig

Thanks I'm good... it's way to early to start feeling better, I'm sorry to say, when I first started on Prozac ( flu) I was told by my doc that the first two weeks of taking this drug will be bad, but try and stick with it, as will become easer then, I was on 20mg then... and wow was he right, I went through it bad,big time in those two weeks, just like you, bad head, pains in my body, sick, didn't think I could take it any more, each day seemed for ever, waiting for the drug to work....

So your not on your own, it's hard BUT stick with it, try and think that the next day, may be the one where you feel or start to feel good again, for ME this drug as worked and Iv got some of my life back, I'm no longer in that black tunnel where you can't see the light at the end...

I'm now on 60 mg after 3mths and I saw my doc yesterday and he said I was looking the best I had for a long while, this drug is still working for me, this time down the line, it is a VERY slow drug to work, but it will if you give it time...

I really do hope that turning day will come soon for you, even I still had a bad day now and again, but that's life really as we are not robots, ...

But I'm glad Iv stuck by it and giving it a chance, the side effects will go in time when your body get use to it, so don't worry about that, they are not here to stay, uv just got to take each day as it comes, try not give in b4 uv given it a chance at least ..

Good luk, u will be fine

      Hugs 🤗X

      Hiya Pam

Ow I'm so glad things are settled down a bit for you, it's so hard to wait, and so easy to give in with this med, as we all want it to work on day one, and some one telling you, no way to early, you feel you can't wait any longer...

But it is worth it, and time does go pretty fast any way lol, it's no good stopping this drug then 3mths down the line you wished u had carried on with it,as all will be good by then....

But well done in riding the rough patch out, you've done amazing, you should be proud of your self, and it gives hope to others as well ...

Hugs to you, and a pat on the back for sticking it through, well done,..🤗Xx

      Bless you star ..

Ur havin a tough time of it, try to focus on some thing other then this drug and when you will feel better, you have a lovely daughter, and I think it's some thing we all dread, some thing happening to us...

I live on my own, but have to wonderful grown up daughters, who live away from home, two years ago I had blood clots on my lungs, I remeber a number of times I had chest pain, but put it down to heart burn, when after 6 mth was told I was sooooo lucky to be alive as to be honest it could of killed me, so the pains I was getting was the clot going through my heart, I just thank god that this was not my time and I'm very lucky to have survived it, so very scary that in the dark nites I could of died on my own.... but I haven't , but what I'm trying to say is, like I told you b4 our minds are very powerful and we think all these bad things can or will happen to us, even me now,  I at times think Iv got some thing wrong with me and not going to live much longer 🤔 But that was when I first started on fluoxetine because your soooo low in your mood, your mind works over time and we think the worse... just like Pam you too, are doing really well, uv got to this stage now so keep going, your very brave, the longer you stick to this drug, the sooner your mind will settle down, and your symptoms WILL start to go away, and then you will enjoy your lovely daughter, Christmas is just around the corner, so look forward to that, and by then I really do think you will be feeling much better, because your on a low does it maybe just taking a little longer I'm not sure, maybe your doc can answer that for you..

Please, please keep in touch with me, write on here and I will see it, and just talk with you, even if it's just about your day your havin, we are all here to listen..

Well done, ur doing so well ..

      Big hug 🤗X
