Will I still grow as efficiently going to sleep late at night?

I am a 15 year old teenager. I go to sleep at 2am and fall asleep at 3am and usually sleep for about 9-10 hours. Anyway. Will I grow slower going to sleep late at night but still having 9-10 hours of sleep or It will not affect my growth hormones at all as if I went to sleep at 11pm and also slept for 9-10 hours. Growth is the only thing I am worried about but if there are any other bad consequences going to sleep late at night please let me know. Thank you! smile

    Crizzly,

pas long as you get sufficient sleep around 8 hours your body will be happy, as your a teenager going to sleep at 2am and not getting out of bed until midday is cocked red the norm and I sure as hell do on a weekend and I'm 42! Whilst I am not a doctor I'm pretty confident when I say your doing okay. Maybe limit the late nights to Friday Saturday and try being in bed for 11 other days but hey, I am not your dad and I know my kids never listened so why should you. I will add though if your staying up drinking or smoking weed that needs to stop trust me and if it's a girl, for God sake be careful.

Thank you for the reply. I only worry about my growth since I am a basketball player and it is very important to me. I hope my growth hormones will act normally if I go to sleep late at night but still get 8-10 hours of sleep.
