Will it grow back?

5 months ago, my hair started shredding suddenly. I was losing hair all over my scalp in large amount. I was losing 300-400 hair a day. After googling I found that I was suffering from "Telogen Effluvium". But 2 months ago my shredding stopped and my hair is growing back but the new hair is very very thin as it was before. And I think all my hair is not coming back. Becauce I can still see my scalp if I stand in the sun. I m very worried now. Will I be able to grow all my hair back and regain my hair thickness?

have you been to see your doctor about this? just to have a check that everything is OK.

also, is there any information online about regrowth when you google Telogen Effluvium?

I have visited the doctor and he is saying that it will grow back and started the medicines and people say that the hair will grow back but still my hair is thin in volume.

it might take a few months for the new hair growth to become more visible. maybe if you don't notice any improvement after a couple of months then you'll have to ask the doctor for further advice.

it might help to wear some sort of hat or scarf to protect your hair especially when you are out, until it returns to normal. there are also hair oils etc that are supposed to help thicken the hairs but if you are already on medications then it is probably best not to try too many things all at once. Give the medication time to work.

i understand that this must be very upsetting for you - i have also lost a lot of hair but in my case this is due to medications so there is nothing that can be done.
