Will my colonoscopy spot an anal fissure?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I have a colonoscopy due soon for Crohn's disease. I also have a fissure or something similar causing pain, will they see this and do anything about it?

I'm wondering only because they are looking for Crohn's specifically and might ignore other issues like a fissure or hemmerhoid.

Mine did Jeff, also spotted diverticulosis, a polyp which was removed at the same time, and a fissure, but couldn’t do anything about it. Gastroscopy, at the same time spotted gastritis and four ulcers. I hadn’t a clue I had anything other than the fissure.
