I dread the winter already I have suffered extreme pain with the cold and know things are only going to get worse

I take as many holidays as my finances allow as heat for me is great right now I am taking pregabalin 150mg and morphine for break through pain relief and still in agony

I can't grate carrots or stir soup or anything with the same motion because they movements cause to much pain I wished it would all just go away and let me be ME again

Do everything you can to keep yourself warm Chris. Almost hot baths with Epsom Salts, Hot Water Bottles, Wooly Throws, Knee Socks, Warm Slippers, A Bit of Cayenne or Spice in your food if you can tolerate it, Sit in the Sun on more Sunny days and drink some Hot Beverages. You will cope sweetie, no worries. xx

It is hard Chris and for me, things are always worse in the winter. Unfortunately, as we all know we have no say in when or who Fibro will attack.

Living in Devon, we are luckier with the weather than other parts of the country, but I have a friend who jets off to the sun about 6 times a year, for 3 to weeks at a time, that's her way of coping with it.  Even if I could afford to go, I wouldn't be able to get on and off planes etc or travel without an awful lot of pain, so it's as Maggpie  said, hot water bottles, blankets etc. x

Chris I share your pain. I coming out of a recent flare just in time for winter. The weather has been crazy here. Luckily it was an Indian summer but with the recent change in temps I'm already feeling the effects. They are calling for a rough winter in my part of the state's. Unfortunately, I no longer have the means to jet off to the islands anymore. So, I am limited to layering clothes, hot baths with Epsom salts, heating pads, bio freeze, and magnesium. Stay strong. This too shall pass.
