Wiping after peeing?

This may seem strange and I may look like a weirdo but I have started to wipe after peeing (even sounds weird to me) to see if it had an effect on the pains I have been experiencing for the past 2 years and have seen really dramatic results?
Quick over of case: symptoms - pain at tip of penis, opening looking red, slight discharge (urine or something clear), pain after urination and ejeculating, 'dribbling' and general pain in that area.
Ihave had endless antibiotic courses, 2 cystcopys, ultrasound, CT Scan, urine, blood and semen tests and currently waiting for MRI. All sexual health tests have been clear (including partner) and all health checks clear. I have even paid privately for further tests and these were also clear. The Urolgists, GPs and specialists have all been baffled by my pains. I have a meeting with the pain management team on Wednesday to discuss strong forms of painkillers etc. This all led to a diagnosis of chronic prostatitis.
The last 2 week's I have been completely emptying bladder when urinating and wiping when finishing and the pain has dropped drastically. Could this just be coincidental or something in it?
I thought I would share in case others have experience of this or it may help others that are at a loss like me. I may be completely losing it. Could left over urine cause irritation on the opening of penis? Burning after urinating? If it can how do you get to a point where your urine wouldn't burn after finishing?
Thanks

I will also like to add - my partner has suffered from Bacterial Vaginosis for over 2 years. She saw a gynocologist last week and he was convinced my issues were connected to her. He is a professor of BV and he states that he has completed many research experiments on BV and how it can transfer into the male's urethra. He gave us both antibiotics for this...it didn't help the pain

You might have some sediment and crystals in your urine. If you don't urinate very much volume, they may cling on to the prostate and penis and cause irritation. The solution would be getting more liquid in so you can flush them out.
Wiping them away may help also. Hank

Just to add as a point. Shake it till there's nothing left coming out of the penis! Hope you get better!

Thanks for the reply Leon. I have always shaken after peeing and 'milked' the urine out so to speak to make the last bits come out. It's just really weird that the wiping thing seems to have helped with the pain. I wouldn't say it has cured me at all...the pain still remains but isn't taking over my every thought and action through the day.
Thanks again
