wisdom tooth inpacted, Pain!

Hello, i started having toothach a few days ago, and it started getting worse, i went to a evening emergency dentist, after doing xrays, it was because my wisdom tooth, bottom right, is coming in horizontally, and pushing on my other wisdom teeth and my nerves, its sore, ive been taking paracetomal and ibuprofen, the dentist gave me antibiotixs and i have started taking these today, 3 a day, 8 hours apart.

I need to visit my normal dentist, when i can, im at work all week!

they say i can be transfered to the hospital as i will need surgery as the position of the tooth is bad they will need to cut it out as the teeth will never see the light in the position it is in.

i had braces a few years ago so i dont want my  teeth to move.

it hurts even when im on pills!

any advice on how to deal with this!?!

    Hi

Having had the terrible pain of an abscess and a very swollen face recently ( I have had the tooth removed ) I would definitly have the tooth removed at the hospital it wont get any better on its own and you will feel so much better once it is removed I really cannot see you have any other option

      Hope your okay.

Phoned the dentist no appointment till mid November, it's getting more painful

Had to take the day of work but can't continue to miss work.

But my appointment is ages away.

      What should I do?!

      Hi Robert

If I was you I would get in touch with the emergency dentist someone there will see you or failing that I would go to the A & E Department of your local hospital you just cannot be expected to wait that long let us know how you get on
