    Hi Christine,

This all sounds good, except any cola or soft drinks sound bad. Way too much sugar. We got a carbonation stand to amke our own fizzy water. I buy good quality dark juices like blueberry and just put a dash of it in the glass of fizzy water. If you PM me I'll say the brand name, but it's the one Coke's been trying to put out of business.

Hanny had a dilation procedure and she swears by coconut oil.

It sounds very much that you are on your way to live with LS in a positive way.  Try to cut out all this 'sugar water'.   It's your enemy.

For dilating I use a fluid form of coconut oil.  Harmless and works well.  Sometimes I have to repeat covering the dilator with the oil.  (The other lubrication materials I have tried prior were nasty - for some reason they worked like a form of glue)

You're on the right track Christine, go girl go.

Good luck and well done! Getting you stress levels under control is no mean feat, AND coming off the anti depressants as well, now that is marvellous. Do tell us how you are getting on. I too have a soda water maker and I drink stacks of carbonated tap water....without flavourings... I find I do not like sweet drinks having stopped taking sugar in tea and coffee decades ago. Weaning yourself off very sweet drinks may well help you undercarriage as well, and by making your own fizzy drinks puts you firmly in control

Well done once more you have our support I am sure

Hi Christine,  I just wanted to urge a little caution.  It would be wise to change one thing at a time from now on.  If we change too many things at once we are never 100% sure which action/treatment was causing a problem and which one is helping.  If you give each change 2 weeks then you should be giving it a fair trial run.  Some things I have had a reaction to straight away but others have taken several days.  Now I have things under control I actually give any change I make a couple of months to be sure. This way I am sure I have given things a fair trial.  E.g. when I first used clobetasol prorionate it caused stinging and burning but now it is almost instant relief from a flair up.  I hope you continue to improve and can keep on top of this.  Well done for getting the stress levels under control as that is probably the hardest one to deal with.
