i was put on 7.5mg of Mirtazapine 5 weeks ago ( zolpidem was reduced from 10mg to 5mg) at the same time i found i couldnt function the next day so after 2 weeks went down to 3.75mg thats been 2 weeks now and i still feel unwell the next day . Feel nausea and dizzy, head feels fuzzy and hot i really want to come off this medication cant believe thstbit makes you feel like this after such a short time

It takes 2-4 weeks for the medication to start working or for you to start feeling the benefits from it. Did your Doctor say to reduce the dose or did you do it without advice? Mirtazapine is a very powerful drug and by lowering the dose your going to feel it. My advice would be to ask your Doctor. Otherwise go back to your prescribed dose and ask for advice on stopping it from there.
