Have you told your Gp you want to stop? Are you taking them for chronic pain for sleeping ? If so that's the reason your having trouble sleeping I take 3x10mg every nite I sleep betwen 10-12 hoursĀ

I am back on it and my other meds and feel much better. But I still don't get what is up with these meds

I take ambien with the amitriptyline and that works. Talk to your doctor as they can increase the amitriptyline.

I am on 100mg and now that I have that back, I sleep like a baby.

    Please talk to your doctor

Sounds like withdrawal. It is meant to improve after a few weeks but I had to go back on it again because I started getting extremely bad insomnia when I stopped taking it. I would say go slower but sounds like you have done that already. Prob best to spk to your gp.... Goodluck
