withdrawal of pregabalin.

I am addicted to pregabalin, only took 28 x 25mg caps over 21 days, am using liquid to withdraw, even smallest dose reduction leaves me in awful pain, started on 1ml which equals 20mg, would it help if I could split the dose into two, am scared of trying because I have excruciating pain. have just about all the side effects on the printed label, plus a lot more not listed, am scared of this med, never had anything as toxic. it has left me very ill, almost bed bound because of side effects and pain. any help would be appreciated. rosie.

Are you sure something else is not causing your problems because 28 - 25mg caps over 21 days is a very small does,I am on 600mg a day and I can drop to 300mg for 10 days or so with no where near any sort of side affects that you are describing

I am really sorry to hear of your experience with pregabalin. I have been fortunate in experiencing no significant side effects but have been devoid of any anxiety since starting to take pregabalin two weeks ago. I sincerely hope you will soon be feeling much better. God bless. Geoff

again sorry you are suffering.Have you seen a psychiatrist ?
if not I would recommend consulting one as I suffered for far too long before making the decision to see one privately (rather expensive but worth it! ) I did my research to find one of the best in my area and wish I had done this months ago.
wishing you a speedy recovery

you obviously urgently need to go back to pschiatrist/doctor and try another drug. I saw a very senior consultant psychiatrist and he assured me pregabalin is non addictive(unlike diazepam, which has a similar effect to ease anxiety) I am sure there is an alternative drug that will help you feel better.Prior to seeing the psychiatrist, I was referred to an 8 week mindfulness course whilst my only temporary relief from anxiety was whisky !- not recommended !!!
keep positive because you WILL get better with the right drug for you.
very best wishes

On the other hand if you read my post about what a single pill (Citalopram) cause, I have to believe that you could have reaction to a small amount.
Whish I could help.
