I have been of sertraline for 3 months I started at 25mg then was increased to 50mg then due to my anxiety getting better but my depression worsening I was increased to 100mg then 2 weeks later I was on 150mg. After 3 weeks on my high dosage I started falling asleep pretty much anywhere I slept at my work I was told this was just a side effect so kept going for another week whilst off work hoping it would go but no I slept 20hrs a day. So I am now getting off them but I am so dizzy all the time and still sleeping a lot. Has anyone else had withdrawals like this as it is driving me crazy

Go to the link on this site "sertraline withdrawal does it go away"? Your symptoms are very real. I've been sert. free for 15 months, and still having w.d. as many on this site have also had! They aren't so severe any longer, but still get dizzy, bouts of nausea, feeling like I have a knot in my tummy and loose bowels first thing most mornings! Good luck on your journey, you are not alone!

Thanks Maureen75524 I will look at that. I really hope it doesn't last that long as I start my new meds next week really don't want withdrawal and side effects

Have the sexual side effects abated in these three months?..assuming you had them to begin with.
