Withdrawal symptoms

Hi!

With the advise of my doctor, I stopped my 25mg of zoloft . Last does was monday.

I know I have to go through the symptoms of withdrawal and trying my best to keep positive.

Im just starting now my first symptom wich is shakiness...like trembling from the inside.

I have clonazepam to help but didnt take it yet.

A question, does that shakiness will last long???

Any advise that can help cope with whats ahead for me???

Thanks a lot

      Hi Lynn!

      No Im not suppose to.

My doctor (psychiatrist) thinks its a good thing to stop antidepressants since Im not able to stabilise and have any positive results from them since a year and a half.

Its just like if my body now refuse them after having been on it for a decade.

Still have clonazepam for now so that might help a bit.

Im sooo scared that it wont work. Its like I am facing my worse demons by doing this withdrawal. Its been soo long that I want to go off but it the first time I really stop.

Its a first step ! Bit Im so scared from everything I read....that people are living hell and that it last forever!!

And symptoms make me fear that the worse will happen...

    Anyone can help? Reply?

Have you tried any of the old antidepressants. Do the side effects stop you from staying on the antidepressants to see if they will work.

No never tried the old ones and doesnt feel like doing it.

Too many side effects from the meds is also definitly why I feel like stopping it.

Today my shakiness wasnt too much.

One day at a time they say....
