Withdrawal tips (sertraline)

Hey all, I’m currently weaning off Zoloft as I think they are doing more harm than good!

I’m on day 3 of cutting down to 75mg from 100mg, that brain zaps are getting pretty frequent!

Does anyone have any tips to emilmate withdrawals?

I am doing the exact same thing as of tonight and also going from 100 to 75 and I am normally a sleep by now and but feel tired but sleep wont come and not sure as to why.  How long have you been on 100 mgs?  I've been on 100 since sept 11th but on sertraline since june 10th.

Hi, I’ve been on sert for just over a year! I have difficulties sleeping but have also been diagnosed with chronic fatigue!

I’m pretty sure the Zoloft is what is making me worse!

Take weaning off very carefully altho as you have only been on them a couple of months it might not be so bad!

maybe you can try to go slower like at 12.5 instead of 25>

A taper of 10% of previous dose is highly recommand to lower the withdrawal.

And you have to settle until sort of stabilisation and them decrease again and wait.

I have read that omega 3 and magnesium help also.
