Woke up this and my shoulder is unthawing!

As you know from my previous post, its been a little over 3 months since I came down with frozen shoulder.  This morning I got up and could move it about 5 inches higher with no pain!

Praise the Lord!

Sue, how exciting I didn't know that was possible to happen overnight like that! I have not seen you other posts! What treatments have you been using and what caused your frozen shoulder??

Well, aside from praying- I recently had a cortisone shot, started doing PT and I use alot of ice on my shoulder.

My frozen shoulder, I believe was over exercising my arms and shoulder- then the "reaction" to that was the forming of the capsule.

As a side note- my Orthopedic Surgeons office gave this tip- never "hang" from a bar to do your exercises.  In my case, I was using a Total Gym, doing way too many reps 2 times a day, won't be over doing that again..lol

    Hi Sue

Funny you should say that for the last 2 weeks i have been able to raise my arm a little more and i am not taking painkillers for bed anymore smile

I am seeing a specialist in the morning so it will interesting to see what they have to say.

But i am feeling a lot better thank goodness

I'm happy for u sue..as u only had it for over 3 months ..I just spoke to a shoulder specialist that said that it's a 2 year process...keep thawing...

I still have it Madiniah, but noticed an improvement- How long has it been for you?

Wow, this strange!  I too found that I could raise my arm further this morning.  Only a little - up to 90degrees in front instead of about 80degrees, but it's a start.  Must be the weather!  UK is having a warm spell at the moment.

Just to add Sue, that I think the title of your post is incorrect...  Hopefully you are 'thawing', not 'unthawing'!  Hope it continues!

lol- I must have been still asleep!

Yes, I should have typed "thawing", thank you for catching that Richard!

Oh thanks thanks that mAkes me feel better I can live through one day of this pain but not much more! I thought it couldn't possible make it worse then the pain I am already doing with frozen shoulder! Wrong):

They never told me not to apply heat so I applied heat as I have been doing for months for my frozen shoulder then later read on internet never use heat after a cortizone shot? Hopefully I didn't screw it up
