Woke up to a flutter in right eye this morning, one year after final exchange

not sure if anyone had experienced this before. if its just a twitch caused by pressure that will eventually subside, but its really annoying. luckily at home today and do not have to drive, but it interfers with reading, and other focus tasks...any helpful hints, suggestions welcome

argh, it's always something, isn't it?

I had tremor on day one for my first eye, never recurred. On my second eye, there was more shaking...maybe three separate times, always the left side, lasting a few minutes. Thankfully it hasn't recurred since.

I think I read that if it persists it may be possible to surgically anchor the lens better to stop the shaking.

Of course nobody wants surgery unless really necessary so I hope it subsides for you.

My first eye has occasionally had some twitching (feels more like eyelid) since I had the second eye done.

Oh no - sorry to hear this. Hopefully nothing and will go away on it's own. If not might be worth a visit to your regular optometrist.

Odd question but so you suffer severe headaches or migraines? My precursor sign to migraines is auras and flickering. Affects my vision but always goes back to normal when migraine is over.

Is it there all the time? The IOL flicker that a lot of people mention (and I have on occasion in my LE) typically occurs with light coming from the peripheral side and also with rapid eye movements like reading. In my RE which had a lens exchange, I frequently see my pulse/heartbeat in my vision.

thanks for the responses. i used otc eye drops right away( the whole single use vial within a few minutes) and about an hour later went away . drank a full glass of water and coffee. went to work in garage sewing up a boat cover and around 5pm it came back for a while and then repeated otc drops and it subsided.

not a migraine sufferer, and nothing unusual going on around here, so im assuming it was just a reflex twitch that happens occasionally here or there .

this morning all is ok could have been an eye strain situation?? idk

hopefully it never returns, because i could see how it would cause some issues if i had to go out in the real world ( drive the car, grocery store visit etc)

    thanks again
