Wonder if people can post success and failure of prolapse surgery

Posted , 5 users are following.

Have a vaginal prolapse and have been having a pessary inserted, which has worked for 18 months, but this one is not working. It seems surgery is next option but am not wanting to go down that route. Would like to hear others experiences

    Hi

I am 12 days post op from mild prolapse surgery and tvt bladder repair. I can now sneeze and cough without leakage which is great but I have had bladder issues which I am hoping will settle down.

Hi Debi, you ve had a rough time. What is happening to your bladder? I have a TVT planned for Tuesday and am very unsure!

      Hi kitty,

It's been over 2 years since I had my TVT procedure and it has been a complete success. The stress incontinence is 100% cured and no issues at all now.

      Good luck

      Xx

Thanks Debi, unfortunately there's is aFB page called 'Sling the mesh' and 25 ladies have warned me against it... Some have had issues arising later. I might buy myself time (as I am just terrified right now) and investigate natural therapies. I am so glad you're feeling well and it's working. I wonder if I'll ever know that feeling!! Xxx
