wondering about disability

I am considering filing for disability. Has anyone in the US had any success, and if so , can you give advice. I don't want to put myself thru it if there is no hope, but I only have until I am 66 to try, which leaves me just about 3 months. After that age you can no longer apply. I appreciate any help. I have never had a biopsy, by the way. Don't know what I would need to prove, but several well respected doctors have diagnosed by sight. Thanks, Ladies

    Hi Cynthia

do you have LP or LS....how long have you suffered with it... I do think it seems to cause many other things x

Not sure, but suffered vaginally for 2 years..Have to ask dermatologist and gynecologist. Stem.cell treatment recommended by both.I have had oral problems for many years, but no one knew why. Maybe 30 years. Also I have never been comfortable in pant or jeans or underwear. This could have been going on to some degree most of my life..Became a chronic painful problem after a medical procedure to look in BLADDER. The area was stripped from betadine, an iodine used to clean the area before procedure. Now my life is a nightmare, and am.limited in every basic activity. Hope I have clarified.

Have you ever looked in the lazier treatment called Mona Lisa? I have had LS over 10 years and this treatment really helped me. My gynecologist preformed it in his office

I had LP diagnosed from an oral surgeon years ago but it's just really last couple of years I know I have it by the burning mouth if I have any spicy foods and ulcers..I had an abnormal smear test too years ago and had laser treatment and I'm sure this is connected x

Yes, burning mouth, for 30 years+.I have to be very careful about eating. No spicy, no acidic, no vinegar products, nothing hot, like hot tea soup. At first it was thought to be sjogrens, which is another auto immune problem involving dry mouth, but a biopsy was negative. They never thought to check for lichen, and I am not having another biopsy.
