Words of encouragement

So this is my third time on medication and to be honestly the last . I can not risk coming off and relapsing . I tried everything! Holistic health , Chinese medicine, positive affirmations, supplements, all kinds of bloody therapy .

How can I accept that I will be on medication for a very long time if not the rest of my life ? The thought of that alone makes me sad .... 😢

I do not see the problem with being on medication for the rest of your life.  It is no big deal.  If you had a heart problem, youj would be on statins for the rest of your life.  If you were a diabetic, if yyyou had a liver, etc you would be on medication.  It is no longer taboo to be on medication.

If your spouse, child, mother, friend had to be on medication , what would you tell them?  Then tell yourself.  I bet you would say, so what.  I am sure you would not think less of them.
