A difficult one to answer as the symptoms and treatment are simular to other conditions. If you are constantly in pain, cannot work or socialise and are suffering bouts of depresion then you may get your gp and councillor on side to help with claiming for some sort of PIP benefit, dla no longer continues for new claimants.

People with Fibromyalgia, whom have had it diagnosed by a Rheumatologist, and it is known by your own doctor, will give you a starting point.
What you have to consider is how it affects you on a daily basis, everyone is different and how the disorder itself affects numerous people is also different.
It would be a case of you applying for PIP.
I would recommend that you have help when completing the Application for PIP. Mainly, due to the number of applications that fail with Fibromyalgia, because of how it affects you mentally.
But you can apply, and possibly be awarded, like many others - remember that no one is the same with any disorder.
Regards,
Les.
