Work stress leading to insomnia

I am in the same situation, my coworker quit loads of stress at work, I have trouble sleeping at night, even the tiniest disturbance leads me to wake up and not going back to sleep. I am thinking of quitting work and finding work which is suitable for hyper sensitive people, I get depressed if people don't help and get paralysed at work including forgetful. In the morning's I have to push myself to go to work since a team sits by me and I hear them complain about the product every single day
Should i take sleep drugs or go to a pyscharisit, any suggestions will help ?

I would not jump straight to sleeping meds; they help some people for sure, but if you read through many of the threads here, you won't find many cases in which anxiety-related insomnia was helped by sleeping pills, at least not long-term. My insomnia also started with chronic anxiety from a job I had several years ago and I eventually had to quit to get relief from the stress. I still struggle with insomnia, even though I have the anxiety under control. I took sleeping pills every night for over a year and they work for a week or two, then you develop tolerance and they quit helping you sleep at all.
If I had it to do again, I would have gotten control over the anxiety much sooner through therapy and perhaps taken some medication to treat it as well. That's the advice I'd offer to you. Keep the job if you can manage it, and work with a professional to get a handle on what is driving the anxiety. I have learned myself that there aren't that many jobs out there for "hyper sensitive people" like us. I moved onto another job in a different field and guess what? The stress was still there! Best to learn how to cope with stressful situations instead of limit your career because you hold the view that you just can't handle stress.
