Have you tried eating according to your shifts? Early shift have drinks only and eat in the late afternoon. Late shift, eat early morning? Although I don't work shifts, I do eat according to the time of day I leave home. If I'm out early mornings then I don't eat from night before. If I'm going out in the afternoon/evening, then I eat in the morning. It's the only way I can cope! So long as plenty of water intake! Also, I travel a lot and often fasting is required to get me thru that! Rotten that it has to be done, but then I'd do anything to avoid toilet when out or when in anyone else's home! I certainly would never use a toilet on a train, even long distance, so fasting is for me!! And Loperimide! Big lifestyle adjustment I'm afraid. Good luck with whatever you decide!
