Working in a high-rise building - ears itchy deep inside, ears feel full

Posted , 3 users are following.

I work on the 20th building of a highrise in downtown Nashville and I've noticed that my ears have been acting up. As far as I know, my coworkers aren't effected the same way I am - my ears feel super itchy deep inside and they feel kinda plugged and it's been super hard to hear people speaking to me. I'm not sure what to do... should I go to a regular doctor?

Hi, sounds to me like it could be a problem with your eustacian tubes (I know the feeling!)

You could see your doctor and they may prescribe you some nasal sprays which could help with the symptoms, some people also find an antihistamine works as it could be allergy related? Good luck!

More or less its related to the air pressure. Try covering your ears at work. I hope this helps.
