Worm-like patches on my vagina keep coming back

3 months ago I thought I had a yeast infection or an STD. I went to my local Urgent Care and did the entire STD panel even though the doctor said it was a yeast infection. ALL of the STD tests came back negative. I was prescribed Diflucan and Flagyl. I took 2 - 150mg does of Diflucan since nothing was happening after taking the first one. The symptoms went away after about a week. Three weeks later the same discomfort feeling came back. I called my urgent care and told them the yeast infection is back and they called in another Diflucan 150mg for me. The bumps/pain went away after about a week again. Three weeks later AGAIN the same thing happened. This time I went to a gyno and she said she does not know what it is but if the Diflucan has been helping then it most likely is yeast. She also prescribed me an antifungal cream. The bumps again went away after about a week of taking the Diflucan again and the cream. But this time the cream immediately helped the discomfort. Now fast forward to 10 days later, the bumps are back again but the discomfort is much less than before. The discomfort is hard to describe. It almost feels like a slight burning itch but it is not a constant burning. The feeling comes on randomly. I am not sure what to do since no doctor so far can figure out what the issue is so I thought maybe someone on here might have an idea or might have had the same issue. Attaching pictures to this.

The first picture definitely looks like Squamous Papillomatosis of Vagina ( also called Vaginal Squamous Cell Papilloma or Vestibular Papillomatosis of Vagina). This is a benign form of tumour. In other words it is harmless and not catching. Usually they do not cause any problems but, in some women, can cause an itchy, burning sensation.

I am currently experiencing the same thing you are! I was wondering if you’re still experiencing this or have you found a solution? I went to my OBGYN and she said that she saw the presence of some yeast and bacteria and i was given medicine for each of those things. I had a Pap smear and a STD panel like you and everything came back normal. However I’m still experiencing the burning/itching sensation you’re talking about. I’m not able to wear a tampon because of this irritation and I’m about to go crazy trying to figure out what this could be or some kind of solution. Everything I’ve read about vestibular papillomatosis says that there normally aren’t symptoms but sometimes burning or itching occur. So I’m wondering what treatments are given when these symptoms are present? I’m also wondering what caused this patch of papillae to appear in the first place. The yeast infection maybe? Sorry for the long post, but you’re the first person I’ve seen who is experiencing something just like me and I’d love to hear whether you found any answers about this or not.

Apart from bacterial, yeast infections and STDs, there are many other conditions like menopause, lichen sclerosis, or chemical irritants that can cause your symptoms. Have you recently practiced douching or changed a new soap? If not, think of a yeast or bacterial infection. With this, you should use Fugacil cream. I got a yeast infection accompanied by intense itching and burning sensations. I applied this cream and eventually got relief in several days. Antibiotics, oral medications and many other treatments didn't help me.
