Worms in the Face

Hi All, I dont know if anyone has come across this. I have a worm infestation in my face. They travel around under the skin leaving tracks and bursting holes into my skin. they create glass like balls that split the skin open and move around my skin with ease.
I first reported it 3 months ago and the doctors totally ignored me treating me for a secondary infection that was caused by open wounds in my face. They have given me 4 courses of antibiotics treating the wrong infect but totally ignored waht I was telling ithem about the worms.
The worms whatever they are are very sharp and whereever they travel through in my face the skin collapses, leaving it like plastercine and it causes tiny splinters that are as sharp as anything that inbed themselves in the inside and outside of my skin right down to the lowest skin level. My skin is also producing a clear sticky substance which feels like little shards of glass if I touch it. All in all, it really couldnt be much worse except for the fact they have made a hole around my mouth which they can look out of. I am totally sane!
I am in pieces. I've been telling the doctors what it is and they have totally ignored me. Even refusing to refer after an A & E i visited confirmed I needed to be referred as the lesions had been on my face for so long.
I discovered I had private medical care through my company which now thank god means I've seen my first dermatologist. He's referred me to another dermatlogist that apparently knows more about things in the skin who I'm yet to see. Even though he's now put me in the right direction, I'm not convinced he was sure it is worms. I can pull 1/2 inch worms out of my skin bit by bit. They look like thread worms and never come out intact, you pull little bits off of them. It leaves worm shape dents in my face and they feel like little match sticks under the skin. Nobody is taking me seriously as people dont really get worms in the face.
They have totally destroyed me skin and I have bad scaring. I have never had acne and had no scaring. This has all been caused in the last 3 months. I dread to think how many are alive in there now they'v been left so long.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

hi all we have all sufferd alot on here we need to go to the papers then they wll have to help us all every one cannot be wrong docters dont no what this is that why we are getting told its in how heads now way i no its real so dose any one wont to help get every one to phone the papers up so we can get it sortterd out its the only way no one care thank you tracey

tracey unfortuantally they woukd say the same. its going to have to be a medical doctor in infectious disease department to get through. my son an his gurl friend dontvhave them on face lije ne, butvthere bodybis riddled with them with same action as ny face. i velieve im going to infectioys disease an also let him read these firuns. i will pist my resukts on here uf i fet any. if not we will have to take another approach to tge medicibe wirkd soubd good

hi Robertao 7458 thank you for getting back to me i think my self its got somethink to do with dermiodex mite my self its driving me mad everyone thinks it is all in my head but i no it is not as i can feel them move i cannot eat sleep really getting me down i pray you find out what it is would you please let me no how you get on thank you tracey

Tracey. im hoing to a specialist on Sept 18th an will defintely post what i find out. i fid have dermidex mites first on eyelashes an eyebrows. lost most my lashes. That has been monyhs ago. i ysed deluted tea treevoil an sometimes straight ifbit wasnt on my eyelids an washed them in baby shampoo. weell they grew back an i thought everything eas fine. Then i started getting these oimple like things on my face. yes theu byrrow under ur skin an then when they syrface they make a hole. They started to spread i had the wirm sensatiin an white pieaces would come out an they wouldnt heal. i went to several dermotologist they said i was delusional an picking at ny face. untrue so i raised cain an finually got this appoint set up. i personally dont think its fungil yeast i think it gad something to do with the mites. my son so suffers from it but its nit on his face. Hopefully ill gave some answeres when i get back to u. main thing kee p it clean an tea tree oil does help keep them from multiplying i believe.

I should also mention I was seen by around 20 doctors. Infectious Diseases doctor diagnosed it has a yeast fungal infection that is very difficult to kill. With patients, it has cleared fantastic without much scaring at all.
Read up on the yeast fungus and it will tell you everything that matches the problem.

Murray that u forcthatvidea. i do have another appointment with our infectious disease dermitologist next week. it took threats of sueing if i had to ho out of state. they promised me they would run test an take mire sanples this time. so i still bekieve they are mites but will soon find out. someine in here suggested the cooked onion. well i tried it an after a short while things were opening up an comming out. so thank you. i have tried all sirts if things. dekuted tea tree oil helped control my dermidex mites though. . i will let u all know if i hear anything or if im still drlusional lol

IF fungal (and would not be surprised to hear it is fungal or partly fungal), then you will likely need a long range (6 months plus) treatment plan.
Get DNA sequencing tests done on biopsied skin samples to get an accurate ID.
Also be aware taenia tapeworms (can come from infected beef, pork and cyst form can be transmitted by dogs and cats to humans) can infect any organ including skin. When such occurs, it looks a lot like what is being described - at least what one can see on or near the surface. Flat segmented tentacle like structure that can visibly be seen.
Prazinquantel is the standard med of choice for treatment and getting the dosage right critical.

i go to infectious disease this month an im taken these forums with me, just in case he might want to understand the seriiusness of it. Thats a good idea about the DnA testing an i will see if it can be done. what is strange they are alittle dormant right now an u think they are going away but then they come back full force. Typical they clear up right before i have to go.But they are still comming thriugh in spots so hopefully ill have some answers to share. Thanks

the pharmacist told me to go again to the emergency room and ask for someone from infectious disease. i cant afford anything right now to treat. i was prescribes ivermectin and a cream but i cant even afford that ... so ive was trying whatever i had in the house . now i have gotten rid of my car and gave up my rental house now driving around aimlesly with my dogs in my sons old car lol with no muffler .. not feeling like much to be thankful for . this weekend is our thanksgiving and my family doesnt want anything to do with ne. going from someone so full of life and so social . to a homeless isolator embarassed to go oht in public.. i feel like i must be a bad person and this is my punishment..

iam in BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA... i have been following and have commented a few times... i was hoping thatvi may e able to connect with someone on here bit so far nothing i still feel all alone . it seems that EVERY i mean EVERY comment ive read is telling my story .. ive concidered suicide lately but my two Frenchies ( Teddy and Charlie) are the only things keeping me going.. i too have been acused of using drugs , or should be seeking out menatal health ect... i have issolated so badly i even quit my hob , iam a caretaker and support worker and now sit alone.. please guys i would be wiilling to travel to the states if there was for sure aomeone there that will help me.. i dont want to die i really dont but i cant keep going like this ... please someone reach back please

Lelayne We are working on it. if u can get tea tree oil from lical store like i delute some in water an rinse spits several times a day. seems to keep from spreading. i think their a form of demodex mites but they dont believe me yet. ive suffered 4 yrs im going to infectious disease an will no more. i was called a druggie my one side of face eaten up was embarrased. i know what ur going thru just try to tea iil an maybe a cetaphil like cream to keep solf because tea tree dries it out u should see some imorovement till we get an answer an will defintely let u know. good luck so keep it clean. if u can afford about $20 over counter medical honey it helps when ur at home for scaring an healing but i believe we all have same thing. will be back in touch soon. please hang in there its going be ok. lelayneya64701, I understand how you feel. My boyfriend, of about 30 years, thinks I have Dementia! His mom died from Dementia. I do know this is real. Please, oh please, just know it is real. There is hope I hear. I am truckin' to see the end of this awful thing, I cannot even go outside. I look like a freak! It has been a sad summer! Please hang in there for your precious Frenchies. I just know they love and depend on you. ❤️
