Worms in the Face

Hi All, I dont know if anyone has come across this. I have a worm infestation in my face. They travel around under the skin leaving tracks and bursting holes into my skin. they create glass like balls that split the skin open and move around my skin with ease.
I first reported it 3 months ago and the doctors totally ignored me treating me for a secondary infection that was caused by open wounds in my face. They have given me 4 courses of antibiotics treating the wrong infect but totally ignored waht I was telling ithem about the worms.
The worms whatever they are are very sharp and whereever they travel through in my face the skin collapses, leaving it like plastercine and it causes tiny splinters that are as sharp as anything that inbed themselves in the inside and outside of my skin right down to the lowest skin level. My skin is also producing a clear sticky substance which feels like little shards of glass if I touch it. All in all, it really couldnt be much worse except for the fact they have made a hole around my mouth which they can look out of. I am totally sane!
I am in pieces. I've been telling the doctors what it is and they have totally ignored me. Even refusing to refer after an A & E i visited confirmed I needed to be referred as the lesions had been on my face for so long.
I discovered I had private medical care through my company which now thank god means I've seen my first dermatologist. He's referred me to another dermatlogist that apparently knows more about things in the skin who I'm yet to see. Even though he's now put me in the right direction, I'm not convinced he was sure it is worms. I can pull 1/2 inch worms out of my skin bit by bit. They look like thread worms and never come out intact, you pull little bits off of them. It leaves worm shape dents in my face and they feel like little match sticks under the skin. Nobody is taking me seriously as people dont really get worms in the face.
They have totally destroyed me skin and I have bad scaring. I have never had acne and had no scaring. This has all been caused in the last 3 months. I dread to think how many are alive in there now they'v been left so long.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

i had/have this on my scalp mine are parasites and pinworms
they have made three quarter size hot spots on my scalp
I have now been taking Ivametrin for 25 days straight every day(look up the Mayo clinic guidelines for amount per weight)
And I also am on my second round of womer medicine
1st 3 days x1 a day
3 days off
then I had to do it twice a day for three days, then the eggs and the worms started coming out of my scalp and skin dead. mine burned just like yours burns, you’re gonna have to kill him ASAP and get them to purge out of your skin before they make a bigger area and go deeper, I had mine for over two years before I had to take my treatment into my own hands, The medical community did not believe me even though I took them parasites in a bag and worms
i will now do a dose of both every 3 days
For maintenance and to make sure all the parasites and worms eggs are gone
good luck
many prayers

YES!! I've been dealing with this for almost an entire year now with doctors either ignoring me or acting like I'm hallucinating! I have never had acne and my face is also scarred from this! I've lost hair, parts of my eyebrows etc.. It's literally been the most disturbing thing I've ever dealt with. I've been to emergency rooms, two dermatologists, doctors etc.. it's insane!!!!! I have pictures clearly showing the infestation and they act as though they can't see it. my mind is blown and mentally scarred for life also. I hope you get this since you've gotten so many replies. I think we could help eachother. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I cannot begin to tell you the relief I felt when I read your post, I was not crazy and I was not alone. I have SO MUCH to say as this has been a bewildering, taxing, arduous and lengthy journey that has yet to come to conclusion. So, I will begin by saying that I have tried almost everything listed in all 2220+ posts/replies and thought for this brief post I would share what has helped and I believed moved me out of the red zone (edema, headaches, fevers, swelling, painful sores and then some) to sores (some drying up, lessened swelling /redness and seemingly no new ones for the most part occurring - fingers crossed), better energy, less anxiety (weird side symptom) clearer mind and more energy. My condition exists primarily on my calves from ankle to knee w/ a few strays on upper arms (2) and belly (3) and one the knuckle of middle finger (odd). I will list the things that I have tried from beginning and continue to do and the newest and best that began a few months ago when I went to see a Doctor in May. I should also add, start date is hard to pinpoint for this odyssey but one thing is for certain it happened in the South (SC or FL) sometime in the last 3 years, prior to that I lived primarily in AZ. 1) Initially my Dr. dx'ed hookworm - TX: ivermectin & antibiotics at different courses - some change in condition, minor relief from what was pretty intense pain (my legs could not chafe against sweatpants). 2) Switch up in antibiotics to Doxy and another course of Ivermectin - increased relief, edema diminished the first real "I might get better", 3) Another course w/ a sulfur based A/B - Bactin - I had adverse reaction and lastly (where I am today) 4) I have been doing research for years and put that to use and suggested the following after reading science journals internationally and came across Albendazole (oral) and Ivermectin (Feed Store) topically and this is the best I have felt so far, I am refilling the Alben today, continuing w/ topical courses of Iver & fenbendazole as I cant seem to get my hands on (yet) what is supposed to be the better topical _ thiabendazole. Other things I do - bottled water, organic food (85%), I began exercising (aerobic) and increased walking more consistently about 6 months ago and take homeopathic remedies to keep liver flushed and lymphatic system drained as I feel this condition presents w/ competing issues and/or DX and after much trial/error and research am certain mine tweaked/altered/affected my lymphatic system and the drainage products were a GODSEND! I plan to read more of the posts and am so grateful that you shared this and to all of the others, thank you! ( I am sure I may have missed and/or omitted some, will share more at a later date)

I suffered this for 6 years before FINALLY getting an accurate diagnosis of Lyme Disease and at least two coinfections Babesia and Bartonella - Morgellons is a term applied to the symptoms associated with this tick-born disease that infects people in every state of the USA and confirmed in many countries. You need to contact a Lyme literate doctor a list of which can be found in two Lyme Disease associations. It's a complicated medical issue and the treatment involves multiple oral (each doctor may have their own mix but if it's manifesting itself with skin eruptions, you have had LD for a long while and is now using its ability to hide in cyst form from your immune system) and one topical antibiotic (Dapsone). Typically Rifampin is one of the 3 antibiotics used in the "cocktail". There is NOW (since 2016) a good number of published medical journal articles on this. Other factors like demodex (one form of Rosacea attributed to this parasite and can look like a flat worm) and other skin parasites can bloom in such an environment. It takes a min of three months to see notable results and at 6 months it is an amazing turn around. Some treatments may go on indefinately but worth it. You can get relief from this and solve the issue. It is not a psychosis although the damage done by misdiagnosis and scars left by LD's hideous effects can cause damage to anyone so I feel for you all. Take action and contact a Lyme Disease specialist who treats "Morgellons" and you will finally get the cure you seek

I've suffered for more than a decade. Ivermectin helps but doesn't cure but if I don't take it at least twice a week I get new sores all over my body. I tested negative for Lyme disease years ago. I need a different antiparasitic drug but after 9 dermatologist several er visits which I got admitted to the hospital once only because the infection in my arm from one of my sores was so bad a big glob of infection fell to the floor while being examined. Doctors told they didn't think it was a parasite and gave me 1 ivermectin pill just in case it was they said that would take care of it. Needless to say that didn't help. Ive found using the white kind of ivermectin paste as a topical helps some. it immediately brings countless of these things to the surface and they leave a bloody trail as they go through the cream. only the white kind works as a topical not the gel, idk why maybe because it's thick and cuts off the air supply. ive had to resort to cutting into these sores and scraping with a knife as I remove these tiny, about 1cm on average string like worms from my sores. I won't ever cure myself this way but after having an open sore for 2 years and the ivermectin helped heal other sores but not this one I am desperate. After doing practically surgery on myself and after each time putting the white ivermectin cream on the sore for a half hour while it drains. for some reason the ivermectin makes the sores drain blood, yellow liquid, and brown and black liquid. i do that until it stops draining and then start over the next day. that sore is healing after 2 years of just getting worse and worse. I try to get antibiotics as much as possible too. i know the hell you all are going through. everywhere from my head to my toes had sores all over until I started taking ivermectin and now it's just a few big bad sores but if I stop ivermectin I get covered in sores again. i think it's maybe roundworms but they look more like pin worms. anyways I know I have just typed a big run on sentence and haven't used capitalization but im to sick to care

Does anyone know of a doctor in the Cincinnati area that works with Morgellan's or with skin parasites. Same issues as most of you, told "you're causing it" by multiple doctors, can't stand it anymore.

Most Lyme doctors who treat Morgellons practice teleport treatment since the COVID epidemic came out. Check the Lyme Associations and peruse internet for names

This describes what is happening to me Although some symptoms seem like scleroderma symptoms and I have raynaud's disease. I have experienced the sharp woody/splinter like things in my neck if it’s auto immune it is really rampant and makes your skin crawl for real I guess but it does seem like something is just traveling around and also I wonder does anyone else have areas where it’s like they ball up underneath the skin?

Yes I have! But I have a method to get them out at home with something I just buy at the grocery store that you probably already have at home!

hi can you share your method. I have tried everything with no avail! everytime i get close to one or start to extract little bits at a time my skin "heals" over almost instantly from whatever it is they are excretion to protect themselves. I can see it coiled up in the nodules on my face. I found peroxide help to bring them to the surface but I still can't remove them fully

for me it was lyme morgellons - the research photos of morgellons looks like fibers and worms lyme can cause many other issues than previously known the big break out study on morgellons connected to lyme was discovered simelanteously by 4 different research studies in 2016-2017 oklahoma state university had the largest study werein every morgellons patient studied was found the have lyme disease. 97-100% in the other three studies two if which were overseas this has only been published for past 5 years and therefore overwhelmed by published articles of delusional parasatosis of which all were merely deduced opinions with no valid clinical proof yet those articles go back decades and out number the newer studies 25 to one or more doctors are clinical treatment focused and rely upon such published works it will take time for delusional diagnosis to go away
