Worms in the Face

Hi All,  I dont know if anyone has come across this.  I have a worm infestation in my face.  They travel around under the skin leaving tracks and bursting holes into my skin.  they create glass like balls that split the skin open and move around my skin with ease. 

I first reported it 3 months ago and the doctors totally ignored me treating me for a secondary infection that was caused by open wounds in my face.  They have given me 4 courses of antibiotics treating the wrong infect but totally ignored waht I was telling ithem about the worms. 

The worms whatever they are are very sharp and whereever they travel through in my face the skin collapses, leaving it like plastercine and it causes tiny splinters that are as sharp as anything that inbed themselves in the inside and outside of my skin right down to the lowest skin level. My skin is also producing a clear sticky substance which feels like little shards of glass if I touch it.  All in all, it really couldnt be much worse except for the fact they have made a hole around my mouth which they can look out of.  I am totally sane!

I am in pieces.  I've been telling the doctors what it is and they have totally ignored me.  Even refusing to refer after an A & E i visited confirmed I needed to be referred as the lesions had been on my face for so long.   

I discovered I had private medical care through my company which now thank god means I've seen my first dermatologist.  He's referred me to another dermatlogist that apparently knows more about things in the skin who I'm yet to see.  Even though he's now put me in the right direction, I'm not convinced he was sure it is worms.  I can pull 1/2 inch worms out of my skin bit by bit.  They look like thread worms and never come out intact, you pull little bits off of them.  It leaves worm shape dents in my face and they feel like little match sticks under the skin.  Nobody is taking me seriously as people dont really get worms in the face. 

They have totally destroyed me skin and I have bad scaring.  I have never had acne and had no scaring.   This has all been caused in the last 3 months.  I dread to think how many are alive in there now they'v been left so long.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

    Finally have found a group of people that have listed every single symptom , thoughts, experiences and blatant refusal from the medical profession to acknowledge the condition!! I find it very absolutely unbelievable how you are made to feel like you are literally completely ignored or worse made to question your own sanity.

    I have been suffering with all the symptoms mentioned by this group and one thing that I noticed is that the majority of us all appear to have been suffering for a similar time period.... 3 / 4 years.

    I do find this whole thing very strange but then if I even dare to tread there , I would only make myself look even more of a nut case!

    I am learning to live with this but it's not only destroyed my life but also my children and my partner. I know they think I'm a lunatic really so I try not to say anything anymore as it makes everyone embarrassed or uncomfortable. It's very isolating and it messed with your head literally!!! Next week I am bring tested for lymes and all of the other things that can go along with it. I'm just scared that they won't find anything or the treatment won't fully resolve it!!!! it scares me that nobody seems to have made a full or satisfactory recovery and just living with it a shadow of their former self and if you are like me a serious, have a serious sunglasses and hat collection......

    I just think, its going to eventually get to the the brain, it can burrow everywhere. and has literally taken over my face body snd the person that I vaguely remember whi loved going out snd having fun energetic motivated, fit and really made an effort to look as nice as I could. I can't even put make up on to cover it because it always ends in disaster and I look 100 years old with saggy jowls and very soon I'm sure for my teeth and nose to be cavity for my uninvited guests to disappear into only to reappear bigger and stronger next time....

    I just want it to end .

      im so glad its not just me im a single mom of two in massachusetts its ruined my little family too my reputation its so isolating i just did an ivermectin treatment because i work taking care of a guy im terrified im going to give this to... this is the most comfort ive felt in so long glad im not the only one dealing with this

    hello I live in Asheville, NC, Did you ever find out what you had? I've got worms in my scalp that I can literally watch move and feel. it's like the worms know when a doctors around. I've been throwing up lately, I think they're killing me.

    you are not alone! I too am suffering and have been for a year. Sadly, I want to dermatology and they decided to place in my file that I'm delusional. that has followed me around and when I finally got a referral to infectious disease I was denied thanks to the lies placed in my medical file.

    But the symptoms you describe right down to the glass like pieces and sticky film is very familiar to me. I was never prone to acne either but now, my entire body is scared and the cycles of these monsters are very well known to me.

    it sounds like round worms and you might want to try 28 days of Albendazole 400mg twice daily off for 14 days for 3 cycles.

    thats the recommendation from the Mayo Clinic and my Hail Mary hope to get rid of these little effers for good.

    i wish you the best and i hope if you don't do the above,, you find what works for you very soon. after a year of this, I'm so over this ride and am ready to move on to a better adventure. one with way less worms in it.

    i have exactly the same thing seen many doctors no one helps... the whole u mentioned is the start of a large flap with some caterpillar type thing covered in glassy hairs...i caught a peak once....

    i have it on my whole body....bundles of what looks like thread worms left everywhere but the worming meds dont help.....legs are swollen massive full of them....

    alao have a large worm like shape that has been down the side of one of my fingers since the beginning ....the doctors keep telling me its an old scar...

    you guys are all crazy I don't believe anything LMAO just joking I myself knew before I even went to the doctor to find out what's going on thankfully went in two times prior the time I got sick with flu-like symptoms and first saw these things the second just recently from seeing something like plastic kind of on the side of my thumb and seeing how I got treated like how it was the first time and how they don't bring you to the back there's just certain things that were very similar in Erie to where I knew once I started to pick at it again not knowing the last time I should have just trusted my instincts when putting my thumb into alcohol at least dozens started coming out of my thumb and pus like form scared of doing the whole process I took my thumb out and that's when I went to the doctor to only get told that I had a infection and nothing was said about the worms like it says with everyone you guys now today as a matter of fact I went and still thinking it was plastic cuz it feels like glass or something I got from just working in construction I forgot that one of the things I had seen last time was a worm like black thin line and it revealed itself again across my thumb and seem to move now when I seen it move before I thought it was glass piercing through my skin but as I'm reading and found out a lot of info right now thank God I'm not alone first off I appreciate everybody seeking their own help and the help that was given back I'm now able to see I am not crazy and thankfully I can even show because of you guys some type of proof that there are others but hopefully the main thing what I'm trying to learn today is the cure or what can fight them because I don't seem to have them on my face or in my head that I can see. what I seem to see is multitudes in each one of my fingertips and at a certain point when I was picking at them last time from the same spot of my thumb I started to get a sensation that led up to the chest scaring me I'm hoping to find out if any of you have done the alcohol procedure and have had any bad effects from it because it really works when the wound is open they really don't like that s*** but I'm scared to try it cuz of so many in my finger or fingers if any info out there I would greatly appreciate it and again thank you all for being courageous you guys have helped me at least be able to tell my mom and I am going to be careful with whom outside tell

    first off, how are you now? i hope its not drove you as crazt as it did me. ive still got it by the way, 20+ yrs. i have found so many different looking things that i believe what i have mimics other stuff. everything that you described, i have experienced it. it comes in seasons for me. i live in TN. i have a dermatologist, he says he believes me and has said that he sae it but you can't trust any of them. lol you can contact me any time of you would like to talk. i know what ive been through. my face looks like hamburger! i feel uou gal!

      Hi, my name is James... I stumbled upon this group chat by happenstance,, and it's the the first glimpse of hope that I've seen over a year,, I've been dealing with this for 2 years now... I've stopped telling people about it because everybody I've done try to explain my situation too... thanks. I'm insane... I started covering up my arms maybe a year and a half ago. I don't own any short sleeve shirts... and about 3 months ago I've been forced to wear a mask as part of my permanent wardrobe to hide the damage... I've become suicidal over the past year, I've even been seriously contemplating about electrocuting myself in an attempt to kill my parasitic passengers.. I am so desperate for help, or some knowledge to help me navigate this curse.... I hope you read this, and I will be looking for your response..

      Don't bother electrocuting them, it won't work. I've tried, and please don't harm yourself, we need to figure this out for all of us suffering with this BS. I'm depressed too but we all need to get through this.
