Worms in the Face

Hi All, I dont know if anyone has come across this. I have a worm infestation in my face. They travel around under the skin leaving tracks and bursting holes into my skin. they create glass like balls that split the skin open and move around my skin with ease.
I first reported it 3 months ago and the doctors totally ignored me treating me for a secondary infection that was caused by open wounds in my face. They have given me 4 courses of antibiotics treating the wrong infect but totally ignored waht I was telling ithem about the worms.
The worms whatever they are are very sharp and whereever they travel through in my face the skin collapses, leaving it like plastercine and it causes tiny splinters that are as sharp as anything that inbed themselves in the inside and outside of my skin right down to the lowest skin level. My skin is also producing a clear sticky substance which feels like little shards of glass if I touch it. All in all, it really couldnt be much worse except for the fact they have made a hole around my mouth which they can look out of. I am totally sane!
I am in pieces. I've been telling the doctors what it is and they have totally ignored me. Even refusing to refer after an A & E i visited confirmed I needed to be referred as the lesions had been on my face for so long.
I discovered I had private medical care through my company which now thank god means I've seen my first dermatologist. He's referred me to another dermatlogist that apparently knows more about things in the skin who I'm yet to see. Even though he's now put me in the right direction, I'm not convinced he was sure it is worms. I can pull 1/2 inch worms out of my skin bit by bit. They look like thread worms and never come out intact, you pull little bits off of them. It leaves worm shape dents in my face and they feel like little match sticks under the skin. Nobody is taking me seriously as people dont really get worms in the face.
They have totally destroyed me skin and I have bad scaring. I have never had acne and had no scaring. This has all been caused in the last 3 months. I dread to think how many are alive in there now they'v been left so long.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

Hi Nicolamc and all suffering similar symptoms.
Has anyone tried using iodine simply just painted on the skin? I have been just covering myself everywhere I feel itchy or have breaks in my skin and I'm seeing the skin heal & the itch go away.
Last night when applying on my leg, whatever this itch is felt like it actually fell off (probably running away from the iodine) and landed on my foot (I quickly wiped over my foot with a damp cloth to make sure I wiped it away, I don't need this to just move to another part of the body)
I feel after about a week of doing this I have finally got something that this bug doesn't like and managed to have a good nights sleep.
Please try this and let me know your results.

There is a post you will find on the internet called Use of Potassium Iodide in Dermatology : updates on an old drug. You'll find it on a gov website. I am following the protocol for Sporotrichosis. If you are going to try it, find the article and familiarise yourself with it so you go into it with your eyes wide open. I didnt have any adverse reactions and if you do try it.. dont get carried away with it. Its easy to get all excited and start doing silly doses.

Hi Nicolamc. I just want to let everyone know. I started on the sski last week. Im doing 5 drops in the morning and 5 drops at night and within 5 days of starting this my symptoms have all disappeared.
I highly suggest anyone suffering similar symptoms to try this..
I tried everything every doctor gave me & ive seen at least 10 different specialists and countless gp's and nothing they gave me ever worked as good or as quickly as SSKI.
I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone who has suffered for a long period with no relief.

I was told years ago that I may have Morgellons but when I read up on it, most the reports didn't have much to say but fibers. I've been suffering from something for many years. It all happened when my immune system went kaput! After having many surgeries, the doctor seems to think this is what weakened my immune system. Now I have Sarcoidosis and Sjogrens disease. However, I've been telling doctors for a long, long time now that I feel worms moving around in my eyelids and the odd thing about it is I cannot actually see them.
I did read up and read that parasites are the oldest living thing since beginning of time. They've had many years to perfect their being. This particular article (well a few) actually said the parasites can and will hide even if it means to be invisible. Don't ask me how they do it, but, experiencing what I've been, I totally believe it. What's worse is that it is getting worse than ever. I use eyelid cleanser although, I'm going to get moderate to severe and see how that does.
I'm afraid to use the SSKI near my eyes and that is the worse place I'm feeling these creatures ICK! Also, about 2 weeks ago, I was feeling something new and it felt like a round disk with a bump on top of it. Come to find out, I may have just figured out what my parasite is, Rope Worm. The description is exactly what I was feeling. It actually explained why I felt so many different parasite shapes. The Rope Worm is derived from many other parasites.
Okay, so, my docs all think they know better than I do regarding my personal self. They don't. I believe what a few already said, what you don't learn, it doesn't exist...blah, blah, blah. Any good doctor (and one that isn't ready to retire in a year or so, would look into what you're telling them.
My cornea specialist tells me that what I'm feeling is only the symptoms of Sjogrens. Well maybe some of it is but not all. One night I was desparate and pulled one of the creatures from my eye...I put it in an empty container with powder chocolate and shook it around...low and behold, it was now visable! I see this new guy this coming up Wed and I'm hoping he'll take this serious. I'm just tired of all the bs doctors seem to take advantage of. It's easier to say someone is coo-coo than it is to research new things.
So sad. I'm hoping to read more about this SSKI and see if it will indeed injure my eyes if I'm only doing the lids and below. Tightly closed.
If anyone here knows anything about this with eyes, please share with us...me
If you have to private message me for all the details, please feel free.
Take care all and I wish you well <3

Hi Patsy,
I am taking SSKI. I started about mid January, I'm following a dermatology protocol for Sporotrichosis. My symptoms have improved by about 90%. My skin is totally clear now but I know the infection hasnt gone yet but I wouldnt have expected it to yet. If I do feel an active area which has just happened a couple of times since starting the protocol, treating the area with my infrared lamp has actually killed / or dispersed the area. All in all i'm feeling pretty normal for once so I'm on the right track I think. I only use soaps I make myself and I just tried making a sulphur soap wyhich turned out really good. At least when you make it yourself you know what you're putting on your skin. I've been lazy with the baths and stuff but I'm not stressing on that. I feel like I'm improving every week. I actually feel normal again lol.

You see in the beginning I thought i had a parasite infection but it turned out I had Morgellons. As I have had Morgellons for over 2 years now the fiber werent hard to find. Most people who have Morgellons wouldnt know they had it. You dont see fibers sprouting out of your skin, not for a while anyway. Most fibers arent visable to the naked eye. Its only when you use a microscope you realise what it is. Some people may have a genuine parasite infection, some people will have Morgellons and not realise it and people with Morgellons do have a form of myiasis. Nearly everyone with Morgellons has Lymes. Christmas time I was getting lots of movement at the base of my spine and those big scratches. I think that's Lyme Cat Scratch Fever. Either way its worth investing in a microscope to know either way.
