Worms in the Face

Hi All,  I dont know if anyone has come across this.  I have a worm infestation in my face.  They travel around under the skin leaving tracks and bursting holes into my skin.  they create glass like balls that split the skin open and move around my skin with ease.

I first reported it 3 months ago and the doctors totally ignored me treating me for a secondary infection that was caused by open wounds in my face.  They have given me 4 courses of antibiotics treating the wrong infect but totally ignored waht I was telling ithem about the worms.

The worms whatever they are are very sharp and whereever they travel through in my face the skin collapses, leaving it like plastercine and it causes tiny splinters that are as sharp as anything that inbed themselves in the inside and outside of my skin right down to the lowest skin level. My skin is also producing a clear sticky substance which feels like little shards of glass if I touch it.  All in all, it really couldnt be much worse except for the fact they have made a hole around my mouth which they can look out of.  I am totally sane!

I am in pieces.  I've been telling the doctors what it is and they have totally ignored me.  Even refusing to refer after an A & E i visited confirmed I needed to be referred as the lesions had been on my face for so long.

I discovered I had private medical care through my company which now thank god means I've seen my first dermatologist.  He's referred me to another dermatlogist that apparently knows more about things in the skin who I'm yet to see.  Even though he's now put me in the right direction, I'm not convinced he was sure it is worms.  I can pull 1/2 inch worms out of my skin bit by bit.  They look like thread worms and never come out intact, you pull little bits off of them.  It leaves worm shape dents in my face and they feel like little match sticks under the skin.  Nobody is taking me seriously as people dont really get worms in the face.

They have totally destroyed me skin and I have bad scaring.  I have never had acne and had no scaring.   This has all been caused in the last 3 months.  I dread to think how many are alive in there now they'v been left so long.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

I have been thru this for 6 months.  You cannot kill them on your face.  You et them out and 2 weeks later they are back and even more.  I have been put on Ivermectin and I t it on face and took a dose of Moxidectin.  Lots dead in toilet.  I am sitting home with oil and vasiline everywhere.  Stuck at home.  Embarassed to go out.  Dermotologist says I am delusional.  But Inf disease dr gave  ivermectin and abendazole.  Now she thinks they must be dead.

BUT they are NOT DEAD.  ANYONE HELP.  Ready to give up

      Hi Lanette

      Been reading your posts

      Just try this:

      1) Scrub your face neck and HAIR with Leem oil soap

      2) follow up with a good antibacterial bar soap (scrub good) DRY OFF WITH TOWEL

      3) wipe problem areas W/alcohol

      4) spray/apply REPEL lemon eucalyptus insect repellent to affected areas, also apply behind the ears, on entire neck, well up to and into the hairline, let dry and leave on until next shower !

      5) please don't use VASELINE or any other loition or cream on affected areas

It's worth a try?! Keep me posted

Stay on your vitamins and ivermectin

      Thx

Yes, I agree.  Vaseline spread the bacteria.  No creams or lotions.  salysilic acid, peroxide, and washing with hibiclens.  Antimicrobial, antibiotic.  Gentamycin is for gram negative and Muciprocen (Spelling?) for gram positive.

?This acts like a parasite.  More like a flesh eating bacteria that your body cannot fight.  It can be contagious to your family also.

?Cleaning wet areas with hospital REAL Bleach wipes has helped too.

      Thanks Will.

?Also "THRIVE OIL" in my oil room diffuser and on the spots helps break thru the barrier they put up called biofilms.

I've dealt with this very issue for 10 years now. Ive seen my children over the years suffer as well. When i had tried to reach out for help in the past they attempted to take my kids away. I'm so worn out from dealing with this for so long. I've just learned to li

ve with it, but it makes me sick when I think of the damage it does on a daily to my children. I'm numb to the thought of it, at times cause I feel beat and that's just not me. Not when it comes to my children.

Ask a vet.  They know about this with the horses.  They call it summer sores.

    My story part 1)

I have been suffering with the same thing for nearly a year now it 1st started on my left ankle 2 lesions and a brown raised nearly 1cm long raised line at 1st I thought it was an ingrown hair that I had scratched at but then I pulled out my camel and zoomed in on the pictures and was horrified by what I saw looked liked black thin worms coming out of the lesions and the raised lump was something under my skin!!! I then inspected my bed were my feet had been and found larvae in my bed so yes took more pictures and bagged the evidence!!! Rang a friend we stripped the bed and threw everything out and went to stay with them, they haven't caught it neither has anyone else I've been around!!! I eventually came home as they were going overseas and bought new bedding but it continued to progress up my leg and thighs then across my regions and down my right leg with major lesion and unexplainable things coming out of me all bagged and photographed!!! I started looking around my home and would find things everywhere yes bagged and photographed everything!!! I had a friend checking in on me and we were both researching everything he was extremely perplexed as i was I eventually popped what looked like a blood blister on my toe and kept everything I got out of it then took photos and zoomed in on what I got out one was a bug of some kind then the stuff in between then finally the last thing out I can only describe as a little red spearm shaped thing!!! Eventually I went to the doctors and without looking or doing any scrapings or blood test he immediately diagnosed me with scabies gave me scripts and sent me on my way!!! WE NEW IT WASNT SCABIES BUT I DID THE TREATMENT ANYWAY!!!

Well that made them go crazy and I ended up calling an ambulance and going to hospital taking my collection and photos with me, I was isolated but no bloods were done but they took a scrapping to test for parasites and C Fungi and I was sent on my way/// and my evidence was not sent for testing but thrown away I later found out!!! Still suffering and getting worse I had to wait for 6 weeks while they grew cultures only to find out all test were negative but yet it was spreading and getting worse!!! Stuck on 3 different Antihistamines to try and relieve the itch and crawling sensation!!!

They seem to evolve and goes in cycles I can feel them coming to the surface of my skin and then they pop I've found blood trails but there is nothing on that part of my skin when I've noticed that!!!  When I feel them coming through I scratch the scab off and then dig at them until is all out bagging and photographing everything yet again, I get minor relief but I know it won't last because there starting the cycle all over again!!!

I need to take a break ATM but I will be back to continue my story!!!

Im new to this group and not sure how it works so if I have a name might be easier for me to write there!!!

Stay strong everyone and know that your not alone and your not insane this s**t is real  but it's not being recognised!!! Later

You are absolutely right about the worms!!

      Karen,

?Try peroxide multiple times a day.. Muciprocin and Gentamyacin.  They are gram negative and can be antibiotic resistant.  AND YES you do have to get them out.  The roots are deep and they do not heal unless removed.  Also Clindamycin HCL 300 Mg a day with Doxycycline HYC 100 mg daily.

?Doctors will say do not pick but they itch, spread, drive you crazy.  I wish they had this and then say don't pick.  LOL.  You have to get it out.  But be very sterile use alcohol 90 percent and peroxide.  The older areas I am using "THRIVE" oil and salycilic acid.  (spelling?)  20 percent.  If open it burns like heck.  But it is working and the areas are lessining and peeling back where they have developed thickened skin but the bacteria is still under there.

      Hope that helps.
