Worms in the Face

Hi All,  I dont know if anyone has come across this.  I have a worm infestation in my face.  They travel around under the skin leaving tracks and bursting holes into my skin.  they create glass like balls that split the skin open and move around my skin with ease. 

I first reported it 3 months ago and the doctors totally ignored me treating me for a secondary infection that was caused by open wounds in my face.  They have given me 4 courses of antibiotics treating the wrong infect but totally ignored waht I was telling ithem about the worms. 

The worms whatever they are are very sharp and whereever they travel through in my face the skin collapses, leaving it like plastercine and it causes tiny splinters that are as sharp as anything that inbed themselves in the inside and outside of my skin right down to the lowest skin level. My skin is also producing a clear sticky substance which feels like little shards of glass if I touch it.  All in all, it really couldnt be much worse except for the fact they have made a hole around my mouth which they can look out of.  I am totally sane!

I am in pieces.  I've been telling the doctors what it is and they have totally ignored me.  Even refusing to refer after an A & E i visited confirmed I needed to be referred as the lesions had been on my face for so long.   

I discovered I had private medical care through my company which now thank god means I've seen my first dermatologist.  He's referred me to another dermatlogist that apparently knows more about things in the skin who I'm yet to see.  Even though he's now put me in the right direction, I'm not convinced he was sure it is worms.  I can pull 1/2 inch worms out of my skin bit by bit.  They look like thread worms and never come out intact, you pull little bits off of them.  It leaves worm shape dents in my face and they feel like little match sticks under the skin.  Nobody is taking me seriously as people dont really get worms in the face. 

They have totally destroyed me skin and I have bad scaring.  I have never had acne and had no scaring.   This has all been caused in the last 3 months.  I dread to think how many are alive in there now they'v been left so long.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

    I have something very similar that you have. Have had this for two years, been to five doctors and a dermatologist. Have had a punch biospy with no answer to what is going on. They all think I get the sores from picking . I admit that I have opened the ones that ball up and cause severe headaches since that relieves the pressure. Tried a lot of ointments, spend a lot of money with some clearing of my skin then it starts again in different places on my face. This sucks at my wits in very depressed as you all know it's hard to go any where without feeling so self conscious. Don't know if anyone will ever diagnose us!

      Try tea tree oil all the time. Some people have suggested other things on this site. I have not done. It is frightening isn’t it. I found being able to finally detail what they are may help me get help. I followed someone idea to use a common facial tissue on my face and wiping away all the hoop they leave etc  I could actually see them underneath.  Ewwwww

      Try black seed oil look it up. I was surprised what it has done for me in a short time.

      Hi can do this on google put  demodex folliculorum  it will tell you how to kill what you have I hope this help you bet better as I have just done this my self I really pray this works not sure I can take much more suffered for to long now so I no how you feel good luck to us both X  let me no please how you get on bless you x

      Yes they can but I think I have two thing going on I think I have a infestation from Sushi. They have eaten my gums. I found them in there today as a matter of fact unless they can grow big. I am totally freaked out

      hey dear, I am not catching on how to find you buddy, I am RN and I am reaching my butt off..I have found a way to get some answers.Send them in to a University Entomology Dept they do not do but they have instructions on how to get samples ETC

      Thanks now I've managed to get three of these worms as they came out of the sores on my head ,and I froze them now who do I take them to in salt lake city ut

      Look up the university if they have a dept of entomology and the terms of sending them in. I mean you can basically send them to any University that has that program. I am using USC California. I am trying to be as proactive as I can. Ask me any questions you have

    Just checking in to let everyone know my daughter is still healing. It has to be  Impetigo because now that she stop trying to pull worms from her face and body” it has stop spreading. Tea tree oil has been a big help of the healing process. We also had toxicity test done because she was living in a apartment with lead and mold. We started her on probiotics and turmeric curcumin and vitamin k for the nails. This is all helping and I wish that everyone could get the same relief. I understand the restless nights and the severe anxiety and it was awful hearing her beg me to help and make it go away. As a mother” You want to fix everything for your kids no matter what age they are. I felt helpless. I prayed and almost lost faith but the last time it got really bad and I broke down to my knees and beg god to please give us the answers. Sadly we figured this out without doctors But now that we figured it out and I have to give my faith in god most of the credit “ The doctors now agree. We couldn’t get answers and got told picking disorder and purigo nodularies and delusional But now that we have the answers and on the path to healing” Doctors are totally on the same page. So obviously they aren’t to familiarized with impetigo.. keeping all of you in prayer to recovering from this nightmare. I truly understand your pain and aggravation of all this. Never Give Up, Stay Strong..
