Worms in the Face
Posted , 854 users are following.
Hi All, I dont know if anyone has come across this. I have a worm infestation in my face. They travel around under the skin leaving tracks and bursting holes into my skin. they create glass like balls that split the skin open and move around my skin with ease.
I first reported it 3 months ago and the doctors totally ignored me treating me for a secondary infection that was caused by open wounds in my face. They have given me 4 courses of antibiotics treating the wrong infect but totally ignored waht I was telling ithem about the worms.
The worms whatever they are are very sharp and whereever they travel through in my face the skin collapses, leaving it like plastercine and it causes tiny splinters that are as sharp as anything that inbed themselves in the inside and outside of my skin right down to the lowest skin level. My skin is also producing a clear sticky substance which feels like little shards of glass if I touch it. All in all, it really couldnt be much worse except for the fact they have made a hole around my mouth which they can look out of. I am totally sane!
I am in pieces. I've been telling the doctors what it is and they have totally ignored me. Even refusing to refer after an A & E i visited confirmed I needed to be referred as the lesions had been on my face for so long.
I discovered I had private medical care through my company which now thank god means I've seen my first dermatologist. He's referred me to another dermatlogist that apparently knows more about things in the skin who I'm yet to see. Even though he's now put me in the right direction, I'm not convinced he was sure it is worms. I can pull 1/2 inch worms out of my skin bit by bit. They look like thread worms and never come out intact, you pull little bits off of them. It leaves worm shape dents in my face and they feel like little match sticks under the skin. Nobody is taking me seriously as people dont really get worms in the face.
They have totally destroyed me skin and I have bad scaring. I have never had acne and had no scaring. This has all been caused in the last 3 months. I dread to think how many are alive in there now they'v been left so long.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

Omg. I have the same thing exactly no one will listen to me. I had perfect skin and now it has holes like you said. It's also painful at time. I get a black dot out when I push my fingers onto the skin following the track marks they leave. No one can tell me what it is in fact they called the mental health team on me.

Dr. Assistant saw what i saw. He left and came back in with her and sheTold me i was crazy. I said "Thank God" lock me up because i sure would rather be crazy. Dermatologist stood clear across room from me and told me he already knew what i had. That 30 other patients came in with same thing.( Sigh of releif. Finally. )Then he says delusions of parasitosis. I left and never mentioned it again. Have almost committed suicide and went in to total despair. That was over 6 yrs ago easy. Still dealing with it. Alone.

That is terrible I know exactly how you feel. They were going to lock me in a mental hospital. I have had the problem for 2 years now and my face is destroyed. I failed a suicide attempt last year. I just can't cope. I have just seen another doctor who was from Africa. She said to me it's very common and she has seen it many of times. Asked me have I been to Asia even if it way 20 years ago and did I eat she'll fish. Answer yes to both and she said I have thread worms. I have been treated for worms for 3 months now and still have worms coming out alive. My skin has now blistered every where underneath the skin and it looks terrible..

Get the fish meds.
Only thing that helped me!
I believe it’s Strongyloides...
I actually had a doctor lie about ordering blood tests from the CDC, and then called CPS on me. Causing my son and I, to live in resorts for almost a year. They are trained not to treat us.
I believe it’s from the public water system?
Regardless, try the fish meds.
My findings are 1-3 months of taking it.
Look up Spirochetes, Lyme disease, I feel they all go hand in hand.
If one isn’t treated, turn into more. Co-infections~
God bless you.
You could also try a natural pathic doctor get an Elisa, or PCR tests ran. I went to Infectionous disease doctors, called me crazy’ yet, never even heard of these tests!
I’m appalled by western medicine.
My MD of over 5 years referred me to Infectionous disease (3rd time) than blocked me from his practice... in return; I was unable to follow through with referral, because they needed to speak with referring physician.
Funny part; county I lived in when falling ill... prescribed “doxycycline” hummmmmm
(County had boil water advisory, yet no need to concern the citizens)
I’ve lost all faith in western medicine.
Not to make mention: other organizations as well!
God bless!

God wants you to be happy. He wants you to get through this. BUT if you killed off all of those worms in one day your body would be overwhelmed with toxins. Slow progress is good but you have to get your mind in a good spot too. I’d be happy to share with you the natural supplements I take to help with my immune system which also helps with this. You are NOT alone. God is with you. We are all on here because we choose to seek out others like us so do not assume that have others around you makes this easier. If you need help or to talk I’m more than happy to be there to talk - anytime.

Doxy would not kill "worms" - you may indeed have some form of cutaneous migran from nematode strongloide cestode etc., but if Doxy helped it, it is either some type of bacterial infection, or more likely Lyme related issue (Morgellons). If you have Lyme and can take the IV infusion drugs, opt for that. Unless you contracted Lyme in just the past few months, expect 6-12 months treatment - worth it

you indeed could have thread worms - meds available that show results for ridding those - usually a treatment period of 30+ days realistic min. to treat (original thinking was 1 treatment followed up with second on two weeks but anyone infested for longer than 30 days is going to have multiple egg laying time tables occurring, so consistemt treatment with mebendazole, albendazole, pyrantel pamoate, etc used. BUT if you can get to a LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) you might try that as many have been found to have Morgellons caused by Lyme infection - often and easily mistaken as "worms in face" - The biofilm caused by the Borrelia spirochete is theorized by some to be designed to attract other parasites - if yoy have sticky clear or milky white substance on surface around eruptions or inside craters on skin, that is biofilm - that is how the infection grows spreads and protects itself - other parasites are thought by many researchers to be attracted to the biofilm and serve to form symbiotic multi-organism supporting environment (including fungus).
long term multi-antibiotics preferably starting with iv infusion treatments by a competent LLMD usually the core of treatment
Stat in there - I've been there and it's tough - but we are just finding out there ARE solutions

oh one more thing and its positive - it is amazing how rapidly your skin will start to heal and look better once the infection(s) are cured - if you see lots of red in wounded areas (lr hard to stop bleeding or oozing sticky biofilm) it is very likely still infected and they aren't healing.
However, once the "infection" (worm, Morgellons, etc) gone, the wounds heal like other "regular" skin wounds, which often includes typical brown scabbing then a consistent clearing/healing.

i am also completely done with western medicine. I will spare you the horror stories. Been reading everything i can about this . I am not stupid. And not crazy because i actually considered that i might be. Really would have preferred it. Tried and trying anything out there that sounds reasonable. It gets better but never goes away. I dont have a dr. Anymore i use urgent care if i need drugs. Nobody knows what to do about it really. Changing diet, enemas, using ivermectin, Whatever it is seems to be really aggravated tonight. I can see and feel movment under skin around eyes and ears in nose and in skull. I have already lost most of my vision in my right eye. Had my gallbladder removed which almost killed me and can't go to the bathroom without all kinds of pills, and sometimes enemas. My face is disfigured and discolored and sores never go away. Only Grace has got me thru. I keep trying but i have accepted this will probably kill me. I am on disability because of disintegrating spine so limited income and medicare. So i isolate, watch mooji on you tube so i can awaken to the truth of who i am and be at peace with all of it. I never talk about this to anyone. And i know i am not the only person dealing with this. Its apppaling that our medical system is so inhumane. But it is. I guess my health is my buisness so i am trying to take control of it. Lately i don't want to eat cause i am feeding them. I get so scared sometimes like tonight feeling it winding thru my head so i have to remember i am not this body mind. I am the one who watches all of this. It would be nice and is just to tell someone who actually knows what i am dealing with and believes understands. How horrible it was to know what is happening and have the one person you trust to help you, a doctor, treat you with such disregard, like you are less than and you are crazy and to realize no one will help you. They just make you feel more horrible. Total despair and can't say anything in fear of being ridiculed and humiliated. I pray no one has to endure that feeling. Only The grace of God has got me thru. I recommend turning to whatever u consider a higher source if you are in this place. This disease has been the greatest teacher of my life. Its teaching me to seek the truth of what and who I really am. I am humbly grateful. But It is not an easy path.

Yes, doxy does kill walbachia.
I feel mixing w FEBENDAZOLE may do the trick.

It does seem that many on here have had success with specific drugs that did not work in another’s case. I wonder if this has anything to do with internal and cutaneous infestations sometimes requiring different chemicals to eliminate them?

There is a veterinarians son that revived (assuming the same) it is a four stage process from my findings. Agreed, re: FEBENDAZOLE
I’ve taken so much Ivermectin, FEBENDAZOLE, albendazole....
It’s all so strange? I also read months of doxy is needed.
I wish the medical society would step up!
I think I’m going to look into a natralpathic doctor?
I know diet holds huge for healing as well.
So, are you better?
Have you read about spirochetes?
I’m unsure anymore...
I do know, it’s just awful!

My best wishes for you - please update when you can.
I am hopeful the diagnostic lab used advanced parasitic lab diagnostic techniques with the lab tech "proactively looking for something abnormal" trying to identify evidence beyond just the basic flip chart list commonly used. The key question being "are they counting/reporting anything abnormal EVEN if it is not on the standardized list used in such diagnostics?" (the list is limited to the standard-issue USA patient parasites). Also, a Biopsy should always generate greater investigation by the physician whether regardless of a positive, negative or inconclusive result. This is not the norm of course, but is the ideal.

you are likely referencing someone from another forum site that goes by a forum name that is a type of "fish" - he has indeed shared some great insights, as has his "mentor" who has a clinical background and goes by a forum name that is a type of hospital unit. Those are all pretty detailed treatments but can attest personal success with the "mentor's" treatment. This is accurate to what I've been discovering. There are very few tests that are accurate for the detection of Borellia Bergdorfori spirochetal bacteria which is the cause of many under researched and flawed research. This bacteria can enter your cells, leaving your blood stream-therefore your white blood count would not represent the correct response. You should look into a Lyme literate physician. Although they seem to be few and far between and are under attack by the medical community. Watch the documentary "Under Our Skin"

‘Skin Deep - The Battle Over Morgellons’ is a feature length documentary in final production (95% shot and cut and like many indie films looking for donations/funding) - see 15 min trailer - lots of current researchers spotlighted as are the staunch DP proponents. I spoke with a young micribiologist (she does ID research) who is heading to med school about Lyme and her response was “thought interest in Lyme had its day and was gone” - the importance of turning that thinking around is VERY important to gaining ground in getting attebtion to parasitic infections - We need to finish getting Lyme and now Morgellons on the front burner and dispel DP once and for all. Right now, the Vets have a much greater handle on it than human MDs in the USA. Pets and livestock cannot be delusional / and most have or will contract parasitic infection(s). almost all horses do. Globally, billions of humans are infected, but I guess American doctors believe there is an ammunitity “Wall” that somehow prevents Americans from getting infected unless we travel to Africa, Asia or Latin America (and despite cases of even some rare infections now proving to occur on our soil).

Awww thanks - means a lot
As an aside, I'm seeing immediate improvement in ridding biofilm from skin by applying virgin pure coconut oil.
For me, the biofilm issue has posed one of the biggest challenges in stoping the onslaught of skin parasites - the articles on biofilm's importance to protecting and spreading parasites is clearly accurate - just using topically the first time, it did what no other treatment has accomplished and for first time in months, infected area skin has none of the very sticky biofilm that hardens over parasite areas - adding it to diet tomorrow ahd will continue topical application

Ok so my x ray results come back with nothing more than a fatty liver & my biopsy came back with
Malassezia Folliculitis.
Now i have used a lot of fungal shampoos & creams in the past & nothing worked.
My doctor gave me something different to try called Econazol, He said to try this for 2 weeks and if that fails i can go back for some pills .
He said he had never come across this before and will need a little time to work out what needs to be done but to try the Econazole first..
For anyone following me in this treatment, i have used ketoconazole, selenium sulfide & fluconazole cream, none of these worked for me so this will be interesting to see if this works.
Eonazole is available in your chemist without a script (Well in Australia it is anyway)

Hey Miss Mary!
I know how you feel. It’s really pathetic. I’m pretty sure they are trained not to treat this.
I’ve been to Infectionous disease doctors that ran no tests. They didn’t even know what an ELISA or PCR test was? Absurd.
I healed my lesions with liquid bandaid. Also, florazone cream from Vitimine store or online was gold! No milk or dairy (breeds bacteria) Epsom salt baths are awesome too!
Almost forgot... I add magnesium oil to any lotion.... huge notice!
If doctors won’t help, no choice but to help ourselves!!
I stopped eating for a bit... it got worse. Must heal our immune system.
Take meds w food, they come for food, they get meds!
Laxitives????
Nuts???
Salads???
What in the Health was a fabulous eye opener for me... that’s on Netflix.
You know that 11.7 million people in the USA are on disability for such type of infections. (Smh)
The best one was when; my son, and I got a script for Emberm (manufactured in NC) yet not approved by the FDA
Oh, and 457.00 a pill (our script was for 30 pills)
Again, we deworm our animals... but, not ourselves?
I just share what works. I’d be ashamed to be any of the doctors we have seen!
Where’s the passion in their careers?
God bless those of you that are getting any medical help!
They started treating us, when our little Dab of meds didn’t work, they called me crazy, and left us sick!
I have pics to show how sick we were. Do they have any tests to prove we aren’t?
Mayo Clinic may hold hope?
My findings are whatever any of this is... the amount of reproduction they are capable of.. any treatment will take a very long time... you must keep fighting (my own pep talk)
Without any tests, it’s trial, and error! 😘💪🏼🤓

Used commonly as part of treatment for skin parasites incl demodex and scabies. Also commonly used in current multi/antibiotic Lyme related infections.
Dosage is important determinating factor in its success.

Msmurray may I ask what you used? I am currently taking doxycycline, ivermectin, and mebendazole. I also apply ivermectin horse wormer on my face. Rubbing the gel into my skin has caused it to spread. I also used oregano oil but that made a burn over my face and made infection worse. I am at a wall and don't know what to do.

Topical fungicide
Active ingredient: Benzalkonium Chloride
I dilute it. Very drying.
It controls fungal problems is what it says on the label.
Also, Moxidectin &febendazole
More doxy on the way!
I watched “under our skin” seemed like they were treating w antibiotics as well?
Again, I’m sure all co-infections are different.
I was given doxy in the county I fell ill in. Almost seems as if they knew the bacteria they were going after?
I make masks with DE earth too, good stuff!

Salt theropy and infra red saunas?
I moved to the ocean to try and cure this. Although, haven’t been able to get there yet.
I feel like my face has spots/layers of it.
Try not to touch it at all.
Baby powder (believe it or not) is like heaven dust too!
Fungus needs moisture, so I try to keep my skin as dry as possible!
I’ve come along way but, I do see improvement.
I keep telling myself; we are bigger that what ever this is!

First I tried the onion juice and my God all the black little grits came out everywhere. I have been on the doxy for 12 months and also minimycin for almost 2 years. Many doctors and I for got to mention that now it's healing quickly I had fluid under my skin everywhere. It started on chin then spread to sides of face and it appears it has created holes but it's not well mine isn't because now the fluid is going away the holes are closing and I had biopsy and it was staph. I had sepsis antibiotic resistant 3 years ago and ended up it intensive care so the staph must be still in my body. I am taking RESPRIM FORTE 160/800MG AND it's almost gone. The lines that were in my skin my doctor told me was the fluid trapped under the skin. It all makes sense to me now but that RESPRIM FORTE is a life saver miracle for me.

Yes exactly what you called them the doctor named them the same thing today. Mine is not antibiotic resistant and I'm on the right tablets for skin staph. What a relief to see my face go back to normal after seeing holes for almost 2 years. Don't understand why a doctor hasn't said it was staph when I have seen doctor after doctor. I found the clear liquid that spread on your face is like a fungas on the top layer of skin. Can't see it without magnifying glass but all shredded as well today. Hope you all have luck like I have.

Called Bactrim in the USA - sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. Used often in Demodex and Scabies treatment - by itself not a cure but in conjunction with ivermectin effective - Ivermectin tends to work in synergy with other meds like Albendazole and Praziquantel boosting the overalm effectiveness - Doxy also on that list. All these meds I mention are the foundation of many parasitic treatments - Dosage and length of treatment critical. This is not a Lyme or Morgellons formula (although worm infections could be a co-infection of Lyme and demodex-mites-gone-wild because of Lyme ) which is one of most difficult infections to deal with

Hey there darling! I have exactly the same things...I say things because once your immune system is gone...we are a perfect target for many parasites. I have tried it all and I don't say that lightly..I have been taking 2 tablespoons of baking soda/water daily...also read about onion water...done that once..also rubbed a freshly cut onion all over...in hair ALOT...for first time in a very long time, I can get a brush through it...I jumped into a pool month ago..looked like a bunch of feathery/cotton covered the entire surface of pool...it came from me..in alabama we have "no see ums" look like tiny particles of cotton or feathers..they are alive and actually are flying...I think I have something in that neighborhood and tapeworm...conflicted ad tapeworm is clear and I have black things with two points
on end ....like a capital M..anyway I have decided we are in tgis together...important for everyone to report anything and everything so perhaps this forum can gather enough info and help everyone.. Often things we think aren't important or are insignificant... Or simply couldn't be associated are...I am going to go through my notes, thoughts and memory and write a very detailed story of the very first sign I remember to date..including some history of previous infections etc...seems like all had staph infections...MRSA previously....recent surgical procedure prior to first symptoms
