2 weeks ago, I had some pelvic pain, pressure , went to ER CT Scan showed 5cm cyst Was told to follow up. Saw my PCP. 2 ultra sounds done.
He advised due to my age (63) and the size it should come out.
He has referred me to a gyn/oncologist. He said he is being cautious.
im terrified.

Please try not to worry, I'm around the same age, had same size cyst that was growing, had it plus ovary and tube removed last April. Everything was fine.
Just had it reoved as a precaution. Not a difficult op to recover from.

I just wanted to say please try not to worry to much. There are plenty of stories on here of people over 60 having this op & everything is fine. I hope you have a quick recovery & as pain free as possible.
