Worried about a strange feeling in my chest.

Hi everyone, not been on for quite a while.  Have really had a bad time of it over the last few weeks. Have had quite the worst chest infection for ages.

Never had as much pain, both in my chest, and round the back. Even bending down has been difficult. Have been on three lots of antibiotics, but still don't feel at all right. I also have PMR, so I am on press.  The thing that is really worrying is that I feel as though I am bending over a lump in the left side of my chest, am really worried as to what it can be.  I am waiting for X Ray results, and am seeing my GP, Tuesday. Does anyone out there know what on earth this can be?

Sorry to say I can't help you on this, as never had this, but only a couple more days to see your GP, so good luck ,

Sorry, but I have not heard of this. The only suggestion I could make is that when I have had multiple reoccurring chest INFECTIONS and the antibiotics do not make it go away, I ask for my sputum to be cultured so the exact bacteria causing the trouble can be identified and proper antibiotic can be administered.

Wish you the best and please stay in touch.
