Worried about Brain Tumor

Hi, I am a guy who has always sufffered from health anxiety. Recently this past year I have been really stressed with a multitude of things pertaining to my personal life and Heath issues with other family members.

In the past few month, I started to get a really bad headache for 3-4 days, much of the pain was behind my eyes. I went on augmenten for 10 days for sinuses and that took the headache away for a bit.

Now it's a slight headache but pressure behind my eyes and a little on my temples. The pressure in turn has caused my focused to be a little off which scares me. I'm sure it could be sinuses but start thinking the worse like a brain tumor. I think I can feel some pressure in my nasal area as well.

I'm just a mess right now, and I don't know what to think

You should first think about something more likely. It is more likely that it sounds like sinus pressure, migraines, or stress headache. It could also be inner ear. Brain tumors would cause more effects on memory and cognition, in my opinion. I think you're letting the anxiety get to yourself. However, go make an appointment with your neurologist. This could be something very very simple and harmless, like allergies. But like all of us with anxiety...we all go to the most unlikely and irrational first. Good luck. Remember you have support.

Thanks so much for replying. This is my first time in forums like these and it's nice to know their is support. I usually just drive my family crazy with my anxiety.

I'm sure that's what it might be, but I always Fear the worst. I think the pressure behind my eyes and nose is causing my vision to be a tad off. Plus my severe health anxiety is making everything worse.

Yes. Anything involving the inner ear or pressure on your sinus area can cause interesting visual symptoms and balance issues. They're ABSOLUTELY normal. You just have to make sure that you're correct with a Dr. I have many many times believed i have had literally anything lol but the truth is, we are just more sensitive than most people and just let ourselves go too far.

That's good to know... I have some family members dealing with health stuff and for some reason it is triggering more anxiety with me.

If it is sinuses, the anxiety I create for myself on top of it does not help how I feel.

Mines started with sinus infection now I lost my voice and for some reason I get flashes of lights and I see double vision in a lot of things and mental confusion. Also I as a extreme anxiety victim I will not sleep unless I know . I'd get a full body scan, cat scan, MRI

Wow didn't know sinuses can cause you to lose your voice too

Definitely can, cj... They cause drainage to seep into the throat which has bacteria in it, which agitates the throat so much you can temporally lose your voice

Definitely sounds like Sinuses, I suffer dreadfully with mine too.

Trouble is with our anxiety we always think the worst, I'm exactly the same.

Gosh I didn't realise you could loose your voice either!!

I haven't suffered from sinuses until this year. I just moved back to this area 2 years ago.

I always seem to think the worse it and it consumes me.
